Perfect Fix — Saved My Shutters!
These MPJ Spring Loaded Plantation Shutter Replacement Repair Pins worked perfectly! I had a couple of louvers that kept slipping out of place, and these pins made the repair quick and effortless. They fit snugly, feel sturdy, and restored the shutters to like-new condition. Installation was straightforward—just pop them in and the spring mechanism does the rest. What I really appreciate is that they hold the louvers securely without any wobble. If you’re dealing with loose or broken shutter pins, this is a simple and affordable solution that works exactly as advertised. Highly recommended!

Easy to install.
I fix the broken shutter in minutes. I would buy the ten pack. Once one breaks, others will soon follow.

Great fit
My cat snapped a blade on my wood shutter, luckily it was the replaceable blade end piece. I called around and was quoted over $150 to repair. I figured for the small price if these I’ll take my chance and did it myself. Really easy To install and the spring loaded end top makes it even easier! Thank for this great product

Tricky Lil' Boogers!
When I received this shipment, the package had been torn/shorn open. The 10-pack of hinges was also torn open, 2 were missing and 3 were damaged so I was left with 5 operational pieces. Fortunately I only needed 2. There are no directions. You need to know what you're doing. Like how to remove the broken, sun damaged pieces. How to install the new ones. How to squish in the spring-loaded pin and get the shutter piece onto new hinge. While it's not difficult if you know how to do those things, it would be a major flummox if you didn't. They're just fine.

Easy and inexpensive repair
I’d been looking at a plantation blind with a hanging slat at my mother in law’s house for a couple years, trying to figure out a DIY fix. None of my crappy ideas worked. 😂 Finally got the bright idea to see if anyone on YouTube had a video on this topic. Lo and behold, there were several videos covering a variety of issues. One guy showed exactly how these little replacement pins work and how easy they are to install. Had to get my better half to use the drill to remove the old wooden pin, which he mentioned you might need to, in his instructions. Another good tip he mentioned is to use a credit card to keep the spring-loaded part of the pin pushed in as you slide the slat back into place against the frame. Worked like a charm, and the pin went in, just perfect. 🙂 My MIL is super happy, so that makes me happy!

I have shutters all over the house and the problem with opening and shutting every single day is friction and it is the enemy of all moving parts. But this little gem is amazing. OMG what a life saver. One of the slats on my shutters broke the other week so as moat people do is they take to YouTube and I found the link to this product in the description and prayed it was available in GBUK as well. And it was thank god and mine arrived yesterday in the post and it was easy to do and I now have a moving slat again. I would commend this product in a heart beat.

I have had some from other suppliers but these are so much stronger and more robust. I am sure they will outlast the other brand hands down.

After trying to repair a broken shutter {badly} these pins were a instant savour, the repair was done in seconds.

Our plantation shutters have been broken for a while and I came across these shopping for something else. The shutter pin on these was slightly larger that the original but increasing the size of the hole in the original shutter was easy enough and didn’t affect it structurally. Glad to have it fixed!
