Good pass / fail tester.
I bought this for testing USB ports in campers while working as an RV Technician. 910Beside the data display screen there is the test screen which has 4 load levels to choose from.I have had a charge port ‘fail’, and it dimmed the bedroom lights too which indicated a problem. Very rare, but you don’t want to sell an $80k 5th wheel hauler that has a plug that won’t charge your phone!I’ve only played around with the pass thru feature so far, bought it for testing USB ports, which it does great.This isn’t for everyone, definitely a techie gadget. I only wish it had its own power so that I didn’t have to wait for it to ‘boot’ before testing. Some RVs have several ports throughout.I would buy again but I shouldn’t ever have to. It’s of good Klein quality. I like it.

Convenient way to test USB chargers!
I bought this tool (ET910) to help a client check that the USB input source his board is drawing, is capable of providing 5V 3A under stress conditions. In less than a minute, I simulated currents of 0.5A, 1A, 2A and 3A, and demonstrated that the input source isn't capable of providing 2A or more (plus that the voltage will drop to 3V and provoke other failures). Such convenience! We quickly tested the other USB chargers he has and identified which ones he should use instead. Well worth the money!
