Satisfied customer
It’s a good product and it’s a good substitute for carbs but has only 2 grams of carbs instead 50 or 60 . Of course it’s blend but I cooked with garlic, chilli pepper, tumeric and ginger, so it was tasty for me. I ordered it again. Will used as replacement for rice or noodles.

Low carb, low calories and easy to prepare...
These packs are just the right size and very convenient. While it doesn't really taste or have the texture for rice, I love this in my soups or Japanese okayu. I also use it with Japanese toppings, like umeboshi, furikake, which I eat with a spoon as eating with chopsticks is tough with this texture. You can stir fry this (especially adding egg). It's so low in calories and carbs its' a great alternative. The 5 star is not because it tastes just like rice - because it fully satisfies what I am looking for.

Not bad🤷🏻♂️
First of all, 9700 reviews with a 4.1, those are pretty good numbers. Now, the rice was good, a little soft and mealie, but it's in water, I dried it and made it with some butter and salt, and like I said I liked it. Gonna try and figure out some ways to dry it up a little bit, maybe sautéed it in a pan, gonna try it with some other things like a curry cream, I have high hopes with this stuff. I'll come back and revise.......... OK, here's my revision, better than I thought, there's only one thing you need to do that they don't tell you to do and I don't know why, you have to drain it, rinse it two or three times to get the smell out, which is a normal occurrence, and then boil it for two or three minutes no more. What it does is reconstitute it, plumps it up so it's more like Rice, drain it and then put it in a pan on low heat and really dry it out well. Careful!!!! the moisture in it is gonna make it pop a little bit and you're gonna get pieces on the stove, that's why I say low heat. And if you don't believe me, and you're of the curious nature, just google,..... how to dry out yakitori rice.

Sorry, just not my bowl of rice :7 \
If you are a carnivore and you are looking for a rice substitute- especially if you are a rice lover, not the Uncle Ben's type instant rice, then you may want to save your bread, and keep looking for other options. The APPEARANCE will fool you- this stuff looks like rice... but that is where the deception ends. It has the texture of... well if you were to take a lychee fruit and cut it into rice shaped beads that would about nail it. It's sort of that same rubbery texture. The rice stinks- not simply a disagreeable odor, but one you will drop everything to get rid of. Because it does not absorb any more water once fully rinsed and cooked as suggested in the directions, it breaks away from anything you pour over it and looks terribly unappetizing. The mouthfeel left me searching for the garbage disposal. In an article on livestrong.com: The side effects of Konjac fruit, the article states: "While konjac is healthy, its soluble fiber has water-absorbing qualities, which means it can cause gastrointestinal side effects." As a lifelong rice eater, I cannot recommend this. I would not consider pouring curry stew or chili over it and could not get through it with even a little soy sauce (Shoyu). I took a chance, but can tell you it's much too expensive to make the same mistake. YMMV, but probably not by much.

YUHO Shirataki Konjac Keto Rice: Gluten Free Plant Based Low Carbs
I like Konjac rice better than riced cauliflower, especially for soups such as stuffed pepper soup. This rice substitute keeps its shape even if I cook the recipe in my Instant Pot. Great for a Ketovore way of eating. I have purchased this product, as well as the angel hair and broader pastas, a number of times. I rinse well under cold water and have newver had a fishy taste or aroma. Nice staple to have on my pantry shelves. Heartily recommend.

Low carb!
The item tastes good when the water doesnt leak out of bag. Sometimes it doesnt look like the rice in the other bags so when I try it, it’s more chewy than soft

Good Substitute
I like this. It doesn't have that absorption like rice. But its good. Even better in soup or stir fry. I would buy again.

Versatile
Well, of course it's not the real rice, but I like it a lot. I have diabetes 2 and I'd rather having it. It helps a lot!! It's really easy to use, doesn't smell, really versatile and the texture is pretty close to real rice. I love it and I think it's worthy to give it a try. The only downside is that is not cheap!

I personally love all konjac products. I was more familiar with the noodles but now that I've tried the rice, I'm hooked. Yes, you have to rinse it. I do so by rinsing it with room temp water and then letting it soak in hot water for a few minutes to warm it up. Yes, it is bland. But it also meshes very well with other dishes. So if your main and other side dishes are well seasoned, you're good to go. Only issue i have is the portions are small for the price. It's very pricey if you want to eat this on a regular basis.

I really like this rice. The texture is unlike rice, rice noodles, egg noodles or pasta. It's more on the jelly side and takes a little getting used to. Once I done up my stir fried veg and added the Konjac rice it tasted fine. If your determined to reduce you carbohydrate intake and can tolerate the texture, then this is a perfect substitute.

Great substitute for rice on keto diets. Wash and rinse and add to your curry, stir fries, chilies and you're good to go. Make your dish up and enjoy.....even better when left overnight to soak up the flavors of the rest of the meal. Not rice perfect but very damn close so as to satisfy that craving for rice. Fast delivery as well.
