Excellent Binoculars for the price. Used primarily for bird watching and outdoor animal viewing. After almost three years of use, they are crystal clear and NO fogging (they get used in the rain from time to time). One of the eyecups got jammed, and I returned them to Vortex for warranty repair, Vortex is paying for shipping both ways, communication with the service department is also excellent. I did wait until the off season to send in for repair. Highly recommend.

In my opinion this is the best pair of Binoculars in this price point. The optics are extremely clear. I purchased the Diamondback HD 10x50 and the magnification is great. I use mine solely for deer hunting and have no complaints. Very comfortable and good size. The case it comes in is also a plus.

Great binoculars perfect for target sighting at the range or woods

These were a must for our Alaska trip. We were able to see animals easily from a distance. Many hikes my husband wore this strapped to his chest. He said it was more comfortable in the chest carrier than just around the neck. They have a good weight to them (so be careful bending over to pick up toddlers with this on, it hurts).The image quality was very clear in appearance and brightness. The kids had their own pair that fit their face size better. These are great for teens and adults.We also saw many other travelers with the same brand and carrying case.

I spent a lot of time picking these out as they’re my first set of binoculars that aren’t just cheapos. I got the 10x50 version. Clarity seems great and they’re easy to adjust and focus. I’ve let a few other people use them and all have commented that they are clear. I chose the Vortex over the Athlon binoculars because of these coming with a carrying case.One thing I’ll add, I compared these with the cheaper crossfire version at a local store. In looking through both side by side I could barely tell a difference. I mean barely. I feel I could only tell a difference in glass because I was comparing directly side by side and specifically evaluating which was better. The diamondbacks were better in lower light and that’s it. If you’re not hunting or looking at things right at dusk/dawn then consider saving money and getting the crossfire. Like I said the difference was very minor in my opinion.

The clarity is amazing. I was able to see many of the Perseids meteor showers this week. I believe it’s a great value for the money. It is comfortable and the weight is not too bad. My suggestion is to have always available a tripod when staring to one area for Long periods.

This binoculars are excellent. The design is compact and comfortable to use. The images are bright and clear. II wouldn't say I'm an expert user, but I am very happy with them.

I found these at a great price! Excellent low light optics which are capable of very clear and bright images in low light. Came with a nice carying case and some nice features on this product. It is a nice unit for hunting or birding!

I saw this pair of binoculars in Amazon Singapore for S$89. This bino sells for more than US$200 in Amazon US so to me it was a steal.What makes this bino special is that it comes with a body harness and pouch for you to carry the binos hands-free while trekking or hiking.I have a Nikon Monarch 5 8x42 binos so I will compare the Diamondback with the Monarch 5.Weight: The Diamondback is heavier than the MonarchWeather Resistant: Both binos are weather resistantOptical Quality: The Nikon Monarch beats the Diamondback with a brighter and clearer image.However, for S$89, I think the DIamondback is a steal and great value. If you are a birdwatcher on a budget the Diamondback should be on your list i.e. if it is still listed as $89.
