Does a great job at keeping my M.2 SSD drive from overheating
This cooling pad works great! Previously, the Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD drive in my laptop would get hot, about 65C, which seemed to slow down the performance. Now that I'm using the Coolertek pad, the drive stays at a comfortable 50-51C and performance is not reduced. The fans are fairly quiet. The pad is light weight and durable since the top mesh is made of metal. The bottom is made of plastic, but is sturdy. The four rubber feet on the bottom are nice and thick, and seem durable. I have had it a month with no problems, and bought a second one for my wife. This cooling pad works so well that I want to turn it off at times to save battery, and not cool my "lap" too much. It would be nice if there was a switch on the cooling pad to turn it off, instead of unplugging the USB cable repeatedly which could cause premature wear. I eventually bought a USB extension cable with an inline switch to control the power. This is not a major issue, and I give the cooling pad 5 stars.

I didn't realize it'd be so great!
I just got tired of the warm laptop on my lap. This thing is awesome! It's simple! The cord is a USB to USB cord - about 20 inches long. There's no power button - took me a minute. It powers on by plugging one end into the fan board and the other into another USB port, such as your laptop. It powers off by either the laptop end being turned off, or by unplugging one end. Simple. It's pretty thin. I have a laptop sleeve (not a big bag) and it slides right in with my laptop. I brought it on vacation with me, too! It's super lightweight, too! It keeps the laptop cool, and I mean I've used it for 3 straight hours - no heat on my lap! It lights up, but that doesn't even matter to me. This thing is a Godsend for people who often use a laptop. They get warm when in use, they get warm while charging....YOU NEED THIS!

Great pad with ONE exception
My old pad died so I got this one to cool a Dell XPS 13 at the end of April, 2024. It is very quiet. The fans do an excellent job. I like the fact that they light up, meaning you can easily confirm that it is working. It weighs just a bit under 1 pound so its easy to put in my computer bag for travel. It is very well ventilated and does not get very warm. It is metal and has no traction features so my laptop has slid off of it twice (I am literally working with it on my lap.) My biggest complaint however is that the power cord is separate from the pad, meaning you have to keep up with it when you store it. My previous pad had a recessed track on the bottom into which you snaked the cord and everything stayed together and the cord was permanently attached. I looked for one like that this time but could not find one that I otherwise liked and that had a good price point. Overall I think this is a very good product. Seems well built and reliable.

Good enough, I suppose
No settings for the light, or fan speed. It just runs when it’s plugged in. It seems to cool my laptop, just barely though. From 80-89 degrees to 67-82. I don’t consider it worth the purchase, especially since the label is sliding off. Unfortunately, it’s the nicest looking one I could find for my small 14” laptop (I don’t want a cooling fan for “up to 17 inch laptops” cause I don’t want a cooling fan as a desk).

Works and runs as expected.
This item works as expected and is pretty low to the table which is why I wanted this smaller cooler in the first place. It doesn't have a convenient place to store the cable, but it never claimed to either.

Baffled by the positive reviews
I'm baffled by all the positive reviews on this item, but I've found this to be utterly useless for the purposes of cooling my laptop, which is what it's supposed to do. First things first, the positives. It's thin. It has blue lights. That's about it. Cons: Where to begin? Guess I can start with the structure, to me it felt very flimsy out of the box. It's proven to be stronger than it looks, but I wouldn't trust this then with anything that has any heft to it. I was immediately struck by how the legs fold out (they swing down toward the back of the device. The legs don't lock into place or even have anything to lock down so I've had one leg fold up just from general typing within the first 10 minutes of using it. They're also not adjustable, so you get legs up or legs down. Nothing in between. Neither angle feels particularly comfortable but I suppose I'd get used to it. My biggest problem with this pad though is how it doesn't accomplish anything. I ran my Alienware X14 (known for putting out some heat anyway) for about 5 minutes with a CAD drawing that cranked the CPU temp up to about 90C and the GPU to about 85C. With the same load, I sat the laptop on the cooling pad, and there was literally no change in the temps. I've had it on the pad for 20 minutes now, and finally shut down the blueprint I was looking at. I can breathe faster than the wind the fans generate, and you have one setting. That's it. All the comments about how quiet it is are quite accurate, it's super quiet. Because it's not doing really accomplishing anything. I'd be perfectly fine with loud if it actually accomplished something. Returned within 30 minutes.

It cools
I picked up this cooling pad, and I’m really happy with it for the price. It’s cheap but does exactly what it’s supposed to—keeps my laptop cool during long hours of use. The best part is that it runs entirely off USB power, so no extra cords or adapters are needed. It’s lightweight, compact, and does a solid job of preventing my laptop from overheating. For the price, it’s hard to beat. It’s simple, effective, and does what it’s supposed to do without any frills. Definitely recommend if you need a basic cooling pad that works well without breaking the bank.

Extremely annoying!
Although the product delivers what it claims there is one annoying feature or lack of. The back feet do not lock into place so if you push the product when working everything collapses. Because of this I am displeased with the product.
