After squinting my way through golf rounds and getting told by my dermatologist that I needed better protection for the skin under my eyes, I decided to invest in a good pair of sunglasses. I must have spent HOURS researching, and finally narrowed it down to the Maui Jim Red Sands or the Oakley Portal X. The Maui Jims are more expensive but generally considered the highest quality. At first I was concerned about the fact that they were polarized, which can interfere with depth perception on the greens, but the reviews said Maui Jim has special polarized lenses that actually work well on the golf course. Having tried them out I can say that's a fact. I wanted the HCL bronze lenses because they are supposed to be the best for golfing, but they were sold out on the Maui Jim website, so I found them here. I was a little apprehensive because Amazon is developing a reputation for selling knockoffs or used items as new, but happy to say that wasn't the case here. The glasses I got were brand new, in perfect condition and in the original box. And they are marvelously light and stay on my face with no problem even when I'm sweating profusely. I think you could even go jogging in these if you wanted. Very pleased!

After 4 months of use i got all scratches, i really recommend everyone to avoid buying this sunglasses it's not worth the money.

Shoot, the darn things really work. I have a killer drive in the morning, straight on into rising sun. I googled best sunglasses, bought these but wasn't optimistic. I tried this morning, and they really work. I'm sure others are good but these work.

Initially I was a little apprehensive to order these based on previous reviews of these being counterfeits. I'm happy to report that these are indeed actual Maui Jim sunglasses. Included in the box are the sunglasses, case, and microfiber cleaning cloth. These are perfect for those with a bigger head, as an example I wear a size 7 1/2 cap and these fit great. And since I mentioned cap, these fit very good with a cap on. They are without a doubt the lightest pair of glasses I've every tried on and they do a good job of filtering out sunlight with polarized lenses. I highly recommend this product.

So far so good. The fit is great. Very light. My only concern is they seems very flimsy. For $230 I was expecting something a little more solid. Also the case that comes with these is very cheap. Time will tell. Overall I would recommend.

These glasses are perfect for a giant head (size 8, which translates to a XXXXL). As such, they do not look as good on a small head. Makes people look like they are children wearing their parents sunglasses. But, for larger faces they look fantastic and feel amazing. Lens quality is excellent, clarity is fantastic. They seem really durable and are very scratch resistant. One other thing, I like to wear the Deep Woods bug spray (100% deet) and that stuff is CAUSTIC. Makes my lips go numb. It's freaking awesome. Anyway, I've had it eat through camera backs, cell phone cases, hats and a ton of cheap sunglasses. Literally melted the stem off one of them. However, these glasses seem to handle it fine. The rubber doesn't melt and the plastic doesn't die. I know that doesn't matter to most people, but it does speak to the quality of their materials. It will definitely hold up to sweat and the toll of time. Overall, excellent glasses.
