Rough Enough has made an excellent pencil pouch with strong, utilitarian materials that I'm certain would last for quite some time. What drew me into this pouch was its slim size that allowed me to store just the essential stationary. This probably won't be very good for the budding artist who has to carry a multitude of pens and pencils, but for a typical college student like me, it's perfect for storing my most trustworthy pen and pencil. (I also throw an eraser and Chapstick in there.) Also, I LOVE the logo patch. It adds a unique aesthetic appeal. Highly recommend this product if you're looking for one of the smallest pencil pouches on Amazon! An Anecdote on Customer Service: There's actually two versions of this product. There's a version that has a fabric loop on each side of the pouch as an attachment mechanism, and the other version does not have said fabric loops. The first one I received did have the loops whereas the second one I received did not. Since I needed the loops for attachment into my backpack, I emailed customer service, and Ling from the support team sympathized with my issue and quickly shipped out another pencil pouch that had the fabric loops. I just received the pencil pouch recently, and it even included a signed letter from Ling. The personalized attention given to me as a customer has just been incredible.

I use this for something other than pencils but they are excellent heavy nylon and nicely made. A little pricey but you get what you pay for! I have three of these!

I can fit 5 pens, 1 ruler and 1 eraser which is enough for me. The material feels premium from both (pencil case and zipper): sturdy enough. So far, the stitches remain in their place. I have this for a year now and it handled a few drops. I love this pencil case. It's my favorite so far, because it's just black and small, since I don't really carry much to university with me.

I love this case so much! This case fits everything I need and is nice a compact so it doesn't take up too much space and is easy to carry around. I love this case so much I had to buy a second one after it got stolen the first time 💀. 1000% recommend!!

The black version of this case is cool. The material is a long-lasting nylon codura type material. Zipper and hanging loops are top quality. Stay away from the brown version of this same bag, which is made from a cheap canvas material. I returned that one.

Great case, is actually pretty small. Will hold about 4 to 6 pencils/pens.

The Rough Enough Slim Pencil Case was perfect for what I needed. It is a canvas material on the outside and it seems to be lined with polyester on the inside. I use this case to store four of my pentel twist erase III mechanical pencils, spare erasers, and two refill packs of lead. In length I could fit a pencil that was two inches longer, and I could easily double the amount of what I carry in this case with room to spare. I have used it for about two weeks and the stitching has held up nicely. I am happy that the zipper doesn't stick. The logo on the outside looks nice. For those who care, The label on the outside states "Rough Enough Co, Sweden" and the label on the inside states "Rough Enough Inc, New York". I enjoy this soft pencil case very much. It is definitely rugged enough for me. I have seen on amazon that they also make a suede case. I would one day love to compare both of these products.

These little pouches are perfect for holding a surprising lot of drawing pens, pencils, and travel brushes. As you can see from the photo, it holds everything I need for painting and drawing on the go. I carry this, a small bottle of water, small box of watercolors, a paper towel, and a sketchbook everywhere I go--so convenient and easy! It's well-made and durable--outside is a lightweight cordura material, Inside is lined with a more satiny material--and the zipper is very sturdy. I added a swivel clip to it so I can clip on the outside of my sketch bag. What a great piece of kit!
