Wonderful book
This was a must-read for me after having read his other book. All you have to do is "just stop eating so much"... and a few other things. He also encourages exercise, water drinking, and getting enough sleep. The book is worth reading because Gregg's writing and sense of humor are so entertaining! It also includes forms you can print out and use to track such things as your daily meal plans, shopping lists, and other "to do" lists, because after all, it's good to have a list of other things to do besides eat, right?

Okay book, minus the diet
Pretty good advice, except the diet. He is very adamant about how diets don't work, yet he expects that readers will eat from his plan which just is another diet. I think the advice of eating less, moving more, sleeping more, drinking more water is good advice. It just seems like he says one thing and then something different. He says all food is allowed, but talks bad about certain food he feels are unheathy and wants you to eat the way he does. Sorry, I don't like a bowl of tasteless brown rice for breakfast with a mashed banana and milk in it. When someone tells people what food and portions to eat, it sounds like a diet to me. His recipes sound like a punishment and are bland. I will eat what I like, thanks. It's not really what your eating that is the problem, it's how much. His book is good minus the food plan and recipes. I want to eat foods that I like, not what he likes. He talks against weight loss programs that tell people what to eat, yet he is doing the same thing. If I eat the way he wants me to, I will feel deprived and end up binging.

Best weight loss book ever!
This simple book makes losing weight so simple. Common sense, yet motivating! I've lost 20 pounds so far and continue to eat less; stopping when satisfied, eating way less. Measuring is a must, now I just know what and how to eat. I paid $300 for a weight loss program with prepackaged yucky food and this book teaches you real life eating with fantastic normal food. My doctor is impressed. Buy it. Read it. Follow it.

Not your Mothers Dieting Book !
Got to love a diet book that tells it like it is and builds up your self-esteem as much as it gives good, common-sense advice. It makes what we’ve heard for years understandable and easy to do. Well, as easy as dieting can be to do! LOL! Def recommended.
