I highly recommend this product, as the quality and make is excellent, I got one a few years back, and it certainly earned it keep, I got a new one of the same model, it's bright and attract the flies and other winged pest no problem, it sit on top of my fridge/freezer in my kitchen at home, it's quite until your hear it doing it's job. If you're like me, in and out the backdoor at the garden, and flies get in. This is well worth the money. Thank You.

I like this Duronic Fly Killer very much - it works very well - makes a very reassuring zap noise when a fly meets its doom. Easy to empty tray contains the corpses. Some-what parsimonious on the length of the electrical lead and the same for the hanging chain supplied. If the electrical lead had been a more useful length I would have awarded 5 stars.

Does the job, best results when left on overnight in a dark room.

After a few weeks this had only zapped 2 flies despite having several flies in the house after having windows open. I am very disappointed

I've had this for over a year, and it's killed one fly - that is not because it is wrongly positioned or not good at attracting flies - it is because the power lead supplied is woefully short at 1m!! As most domestic homes have plug sockets at skirting board level and this needs siting at at least 1.5m height, it is next to useless, without using an extra burdensome extension lead. Lead should be at least 2-3m IMHO

I have flies issue in the hot weather over 50 big and small flies getting in my home from outdoor. I received and turn it on for 30 mins , it got its first kill. I can found clearly flies are decreasing quickly. However it is not possible to kill all of them so I just simply hange some sticky traps, they work very well together.

I've had this running in different places. On a dining table, top of tall fridge in kitchen etc and in 12 days not 1 insect had gone anywhere near it. So perhaps you could use it next to your food as nothing goes within 2 feet of it. But when it comes to killing them they aren't interested. Maybe word has got round the insect community "if you see a blue light run for the hills", who knows! 😂
