I needed to hang my neon light on too of faux plant against a wall. This made it possible and look cleaner providing that clearance between the wall and the neon light for the faux plants to be sandwiched in.

Good but not great.

One of my biggest questions before purchasing these was: Will they hold my bathroom mirror? The answer is yes. The mirror in my bathroom is 48" x 36" and is relatively heavy (maybe 50 ish pounds). Any way, you need, probably a 3/8" hole in whatever your going in to; 5/16 didn't cut it, wasn't big enough. I ended up drilling out a 1/2" hole and it worked perfectly fine. The silicone washers are very thin and DO tend to stick together but you should have 2 per standoff. I bought 4 heavy duty, 100 lb anchors to go into the dry wall before going in with the bases of each stand off. Used 4 total for my 48" x 36" mirror and they look and perform great!

Used these stand-offs to hang the acrylic sign in our business' lobby. I can't say it was a cakewalk to install. For our sign, I had the sign printer pre-drill the locations where the spacers would be mounted. Since the spacers come in different sizes, be sure to select the appropriate drill size to allow a small amount of adjustability, because, although the sign maker can use precision CNC to make the holes in the acrylic, hand drilling and placing the drywall anchors in the wall can be tough to do exactly. Pay attention to the size of the threaded portion of the standoff which will go through your sign, and make the plexiglass hole ~1/8 inch larger in diameter.
