I don't usually review but ive been on a mission to get my anxiety under control so I feel like this is genuinely important and can be of use for others. Theres a significant quality difference here between other brands. And I don't know why. Theyre all 200mg l theanine with suntheanine. This brand just has the best calming and relaxing effects. So yes, dish out the extra cash for better quality if you can. If not, just make sure whatever brand you're getting mentions suntheanine

Reduces ruminating between sleep cycles

Calmer, Clearer, Worth the Upgrade
I’ve been using L-Theanine for months and have noticed a real improvement in my calmness and ability to manage stress. It helps smooth out anxiety without making me feel sleepy. I switched to Pure Encapsulations because I trust the brand’s quality and potency. It is more expensive, but if it fits your budget, I believe it’s worth it for the reliability and results.

Really helped falling asleep and with “hangziety”
Gentle sleep med and if you get coffee jitters or post -drinking jitters (“hangziety”), works for that too. For me, it works for both. Takes about 45 min to kick in and lasts about 4 hours. Supposedly, it takes a month to build up but I didn’t notice that for immediate use or long-term use. Just my personal experience. I will say that taking 2+ pills doesn’t enhance effects for me, at all.
