I had my eye on this set for a while, and then one day it went on sale for an unbelievable price so I decided to try it. When it arrived I was so absolutely impressed I bought more for gifts for friends. I actually wish I got more sets at the price point I bought. For starters, the case alone was well worth the price. It only holds nine hooks on the main side, but I specifically bought it for my Clover hooks (10 in the set) so my smallest hook has to be stored somewhere else. It does come with a set of ergonomic hooks already, which I will use for travel. There are a ton of little accessories including stitch markers, which run several dollars a package at a big box store. It also comes with a full set of bamboo hooks, which I have not tried yet. This is an excellent starter set and as a seasoned crocheter I find having extra accessories, specifically stitch markers very handy.

I’ve been a crochet-er for almost a decade. I never knew how much I needed this case but I’m so glad I have it now. It came with lots of items, and i switched them out for my own ergonomic hooks (gave the others to my 8 year old, who is learning). It hold my Boyd hooks perfectly. I did keep the thread hooks. The wood is flat shaped, not round. I have yet to try them and I wonder if they will be easy to hold. It’s beautiful and functional. I’ve added pictures so you can see. Keep in mind that the items it comes with may be a hit or miss, the stitch markers are unusable. They are stiff and very difficult to pop open (get the ones from Joann fabric) Also, the eye needles I also found on amazon for $3 and it comes with a small container, which I placed in this case and also recommend.

I am thrilled with this crochet set! Mine came with all of the described pieces intact. The 2.0-6.0 hooks have a rubber handle with the size cut into the handle, which is definitely better than kits that have it printed on. The smaller hooks have bamboo (?) handles, and also have the size cut into them, not printed on. The tape measure and scissors both work well. There's also enough room to put other crochet hooks and accoutrements in the pockets. And the green case is very pretty. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

The set over all is wonderful. It’s cute. There’s so many useful things in it! But the scissors are trash. We threw them away and kept the cap to replace the one we lost on a similar pair lol. But again great set. Worth the price especially for a beginner. I would totally rebuy this as a gift.

It has everything shown in the image and is excellent. Great quality product and the packaging kept the product clean.

The mint green fabric is gorgeous. I really love the fact the hook case has 2 main zippered pages/sections, plus a large mesh zippered compartment and a tiny solid fabric zippered compartment for the small things, such as stitch markers and yarn needles. It, also, has snips, a tape measure, large stitch/cable holders, plastic yarn needles, a small pack of tiny stitch markers, 2 sets of knitting needle point protectors, and a hook sizer with the inches and metric marked on the sides. The wooden handles on the steel hooks feel really nice in your hand but they are a bit slippery, I haven't had a chance to use them yet so I can't really review them properly. On the other hand, the yarn hooks are cushioned and super soft, I really enjoy using them. I bought these to try because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and it's sometimes hard to hold a regular small handle. On the Con side, at least for me, is all the hooks are marked in metric only, if you live anywhere but the US this won't be a problem at all. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely order from them again.

I especially like the wood handle hooks. They are comfortable and perfect for my hand. I use the knife hold and find the shape of the wooden handle is easy and does not tire my hand. I have not yet used the other hooks. The set comes with extra's some of which I will not use, but nice to have in case I need it in the future. The case is quite nice and soes with all the hooks and extra's in place. I would recommend this set.
