I have a couple devices which use the USB mini 2.0 connector. I think it's a lot easier to have a couple adapters for those items rather than keep old cables around. In my sound bag I use for filmmaking, my sound recorder backs up to a Mini G-Drive that has both firewire and USB mini connections. So now I can just hand off the mini drive, and I keep a short USB-C cable with one of these adapters on one end and a USB-C to A adapter on the other. This makes it easy to connect the drive to any modern computer or tablet. Now I don't have to try to get the Compact Flash card out of the back of the recorder (which is a pain). Product worked as intended i guess, was for a. Old pair of ps3 move controllers that refused to charge for old psvr1, the charge light would illuminate but they still did not hold a charge. Tried new batteries, still no charge, tossed them. (Controllers are about 15 years old**)

In all fairness, I assume that any pre-extising connection via mini USB on my SpO2 watch might work after using the adapter. Finger probe is a type c connector. But does not work with the adapter. If I use a probe with mini usb, the SpO2 works, so nothing work with the mini USB port, it is just that adapter does not covert the port to type C.
