What a Fun Treat!
This delicious little game keeps me smiling while I play. The fun guests and their particular tastes and favorite deserts are just as entertaining as the buffet of great sweets to pair up to satisfy each guest at this dinner party of a game. If you are at all a fan of Sushi Go, or any of the chef serving type app games in the footsteps of Diner Dash or Tapper, or fast fun card games like Rummy or Guillotine, this fun family friendly game captures great play mechanics that you will enjoy while creating a play environment flavor that can make you forget about always needing to win just because you will be having fun with the pairing up of the tasty confections of game play. Not to say this has any less tactical or strategic play as classic games like rummy, but the flavor is fun in its own. I have been a long time fan of Sushi Go, with its cute graphics and fast game play, but this game has quickly rivaled it quickly becoming a favorite of mine, as I have become a big fan of all the Looney Labs’ games. I am both sweetly satisfied and yet still have an insatiable sweet tooth for this game.

Great little game for travel or filling time
My girlfriend and I have been playing the digital version of Just Desserts and loved it so much that she wanted the physical game to play with friends. As a gift, it was perfect. she was really happy with it! The game itself is simple but charming, with easy-to-learn mechanics that make it great for casual gaming sessions. The art is cute and adds a fun touch to the overall experience. It’s definitely on the lighter side in terms of complexity, but that’s part of the appeal; it’s a quick and enjoyable game to pull out with friends or family without a steep learning curve. Also small and portable so it’s easy for trips.

Fun family game
Cons: *Cheaper card stock Pros: *Family friendly *easy to explain Looney Labs makes great family games that are easy to understand and "Just Desserts" is no different. You and friends are waiters at a restaurant, competitively trying to satisfy the customers as they walk in. Each turn you'll draw from the "dessert" pile, attempting to put together desserts that the customer is looking for. If the customer is satisfied, then take that person and add them to your pile of satisfied customers. The first to satisfy three customers of the same suit (border color) or five of different suits win. My family and I enjoy this game and sneak it into the mix every other week for a competitive card game. Easy enough that my five year jumps in as well. The game rules are simple enough that you're able to add varient rules, like us, we also have drinking rules to it. Recommendation: Put sleeves on the cards. Like most looney lab cards, they're thin and easy to damage from daily wear. I'm using Fantasy Flight Standard American Board Game Size 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 in sleeves

Best game ever!
It’s not the best game ever but it is in my top 5 and I have a ton of games! I love this game so much! It’s easy enough for my 5 year old to play and easy enough for my 80 year old granny who’s not good at games. It’s a great game to keep in your purse to play anywhere! Restaurant, home, party, park, on vacation! It is seriously the best and so so fun!

Just Desserts Card Game
Just Desserts is a game put out by the makers of Fluxx and I have to say that I found it very very similar, albeit with a sweet twist. A card game, it is great for 2-5 players, and the players can probably be 8+ and up. Game play can be as little as fifteen minutes if you're working with a savvy group. There are two types of beautifully illustrated cards in this set. The guests, which are different comical characters who want something specific in their dessert (and some have a favorite dessert) and the desserts themselves, which are made up of different flavor components (fruit, chocolate, etc.) and can be used to satisfy a guest. Game play happens by each player drawing a dessert card and a new guest card going up on the table (there are different "suits" of guest cards and only one of each suit can be in play at a time). With the cards in your hand, you try to satisfy a guest and gain that card. To win, you must collect the cards of either three guests of one suit, or one guest of five different suits. If you satisfy a guest with their favorite dessert, you are able to draw an extra dessert card. There are of course numerous other rules, but for the purpose of brevity, I'm not going to include them here. As said before, the cards are beautifully illustrated. They have a lot of whimsy and bright colors and are made with thick cardstock. The box itself is somewhat small and portable so you can easily take it with you to play this game at different locations. For instance, I took this into work and made my coworkers play with me at lunch. An average fun time was had by all, but there have been no requests to bring back the game. I think the main problem with the gameplay is once is enough. You pretty much see all the cards in one gameplay and so there's nothing new left to see really. I'm sure other games could use less cards, but our particular first round (with 3 people playing) used up all but 2 or 3 of the cards. A cute game, but one that you can easily tire of. I'll stick to Fluxx for this type of game. Review by M. Reynard 2015

Fun theme, fun art, and fun gameplay
I love the concept of this game. Each player plays a server at a dessert shop trying to feed customers desserts that contain their favorite types of dessert ingredients (cake, chocolate, fruit, nuts, etc.). It's really fun. There are variations, one of which is where you can steal customers from opponents. The best part for me though is that my four-and-a-half-year-old can play. It took a few tries for him to really understand the concepts, but now he asks me multiple times a day to play with him and I love it! Great game to play with children and adults. And it's just plain fun.
