2 wires input. What for? Runs the unit or monitor point? If monitor point, then what runs the unit. It does not say what battery it takes or even

The 2 wires are for the monitor voltage and also power the unit. I only tried it at 12V but my guess is their voltage regulator can take the full range of voltage and convert to 5V or 3.3V

what gauge are the lead wires?

22 gauge maybe they may be small but its not like it draws a enormous amount of power to make it work. I have one and it works great im running 4400 watts of RAAW true RMS power to 4 mofo 12's and no problem with the unit.

How much current does this meter use when connected?

10.1 mA - That's around 1/100th of an Amp.

what is the warranty?

There where no instructions or paper saying warranty. The Hook up is simple. If you don't know how just look on the internet.
