Polka Rose Tea For One

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas as she has recently started drinking tea. It is a beautiful teapot and a lovely large breakfast cup. I liked the design because it was traditional, but the polka dots give it a modern twist, and everyone knows that tea tastes much better from a china cup - I've done a blind test and it really is true! My daughter loves it, especially when I showed her how the teapot and cup stack. The packaging is beautiful and it makes a lovely gift. The only negative thing I have to say is that I had not seen the set and from the picture I thought I was buying something blue - my daughters favorite color. In fact it's a very pleasant greenish color. When I saw the set I thought I would send it back and get the blue design which I think is called polka blue, but there wasn't time before Christmas and I'm glad I didn't as she loves it anyway. I looked on amazon and couldn't find this particular set in the blue design anyway.

This is nothing like those other tea for one sets. The teapot is just a miniature version of a full sized one and it’s just so darling!! The cup and saucer are quite a bit larger than your usual cup and saucer. It’s a perfectly adorable and fun way to make teatime special. And if you use normal sized cup and saucers, it makes a lovely little tea for two when you don’t want to use a large pot!

I bought this for my best friend for Christmas, and she was so incredibly happy to get it. The colors are classy, the shape is as pictured, and it is very high quality. It arived earlier than expected, too! The INCREDIBLE thing about this tea set is what is has gone through. She took it with her when she left, and this week she was driving home from college in a snowstorm and her vehicle drifted on the highway and she rolled four times. Her car was totaled. She got hurt pretty badly, but she somehow lived. Everything she was bringing home was damages and dirty, all except this tea set. There wasn't a single crack. Not a single chip. It was all still in the box, even if it was a little crumpled. I would give this 6 stars if I could.

This is such a pretty set. It's exactly as it's pictured. The cup is much larger than I thought it would but the pot fills it nicely for 2 cups of tea.

Arrived without any Royal Albert packaging. Tea pot has been USED. There is tea leaf debris from where somebody brewed and poured tea. DISGUSTING. The worst part is IT’S MISSING THE SAUCER. Utter rubbish and a waste of my time ordering and now returning. Absolutely ungiftable and a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT from my first Royal Albert purchase. Needless to say I will not be buying from them ever again.

I have some royal albert at home, bought in the uk.. the fine china on this set this is a little thicker .. but still a great price for a very pretty set!
