TEDCO-Pet Tornado-Spin and Watch

Love this! My son who is obsessed with tornados loves this. The facts on the back are handy as well!

My child (8 yo) is obsessed with tornados, and loves to see the spinning everywhere possible - water going down the drain, spinning water bottles, and this new TEDCO Pet Tornado toy. This toy has really cut down on my child from spinning and flipping water bottles at the dining table, and now has his own pet tornado. It's really great if your child loves to see the water spinning. Be sure to make sure your child doesn't chew off the plastic lid, or throw it, otherwise it may cause a leak.

Ok so this has some pros and cons; Pro; it’s cute! It’s neat to see the “tornado” form in the jar. It’s also neat to read the facts on the back of the jar about the tornado categories. Also there is no batteries needed or special plugins. Cons; it’s small! Maybe I didn’t read the description well enough? It’s way smaller than I expected. The tornado is not super easy to “form”. You have to spin the jar a certain way to get it going. Quality wise it’s ok, money wise I would say ok but should be cheaper. I am sure our 4 year old who is obsessed with tornadoes will love this and it’ll be his new fun thing!

My son’s recently gotten really into tornadoes. He saw me watch the Twisters trailer and he jumped head first into the rabbit hole of what tornadoes are. While I’m trying to teach him that a tornado is a force of nature, I wanted to get him something that I know he’d love in his quest to better understand them. To put it simply, you spin this cylinder and it creates a mini foam tornado inside it. The effect doesn’t last long at all, but it’s enough that my kid becomes mesmerized by it. There’s details on the side that describe the different intensities of a tornado on the Enhanced Fujita scale. It’s a neat little teaching tool. All-in-all, for the price paid, it was worth it to see the wonder in my son’s eyes seeing it and wanting to learn more about it. He carries it everywhere we go now.

5 seconds of fun lol great for kids but be careful when they get tired they will ask you to shake it while they watch
