Surprise
Didnโt realize it had an extension to adapt to another HP laptop model. Charger itself help up against some rigorous gaming already, and has proven the laptop itself has a battery issue that is not easily remedied. Oh well, still worth it.

Lasted a year, always was way too hot
This cord worked fine for a year, then died. Not a big deal for how cheap it was, but it was always super hot (would burn your skin if it was sitting on it) when it was plugged in.

Works with my laptop
I needed a new power cord for my laptop. I am always concerned that you wonโt get one that works with your laptop. This one arrived on time and works. I am very pleased with my purchase.

On line ordering is tough; can't see what your getting
The power plug on this power supply does fit my monitor; I specified the monitor type when selecting it; for my application, the power supply is useless ! (however the power supply does provide 19v, I checked it with a meter)

I was struggling looking for a cable because no amazon seller have it for the mg series but with the right research I was able to see that this one is compatible with the monitor

Not Long Lasting
It lasted a little of 4 months. Considering what it cost you really can't expect it to last long. The original HP last about 6 months.
