metal and wood corkscrew

While staying at a VRBO apartment in Paris this May I found this jewel in the owner's utensil drawer. I was so impressed that I *had* to have one. So I took photos and upon returning to the U.S. I found it on Amazon and ordered it. Love it! I've owned others that had obvious weaknesses such as being too narrow at high-stress points. Of course, they eventually broke. This one impresses my sense of solid construction and quality, as well as being a piece of artwork. In short, I'm a corkscrew snob and wanted a good one for a reasonable amount of money. This one fits the bill. It's good looking, solid and doesn't cost an arm and leg to own. And...it actually ships from France where it was made. Shipping cost was surprisingly reasonable.

At first sight this was an excellent well made Corkscrew but within a couple of years it started falling apart: the first issue could be resolved with some super glue, the next was the mechanism for rejecting the cork failed and the last straw was the Corkscrew failed to twist as it was pushed into the bottle and simply rammed the cork down inside the bottle. I would not buy this again.

Mkt bra korkskruv då jag har en likadan själv. Beställde en för att ge bort i present och betalade extra frakt för att få den till dan efter. Tyvärr var den trasig, känns som den jag fick är en reklamation någon annan har skickat tillbaka? Reklamerade den och fick en som var hel, tyvärr fick jag vänta 5 dagar så känns lite surt med betalat extra för frakt i första skedet.

Qualité vraiment médiocre. Une partie de la poignée était détachée/cassée . Je n'ai pas pu offrir ce tire bouchon qui aurait dû être un cadeau.
