This is an excellent teapot for brewing loose-leaf tea. Good quality and design. Very easy to use and clean. Small and compact for 3-4 cups. Pushing to five, depending on cup size. Easy to pour, but please hold onto the lid when pouring. I broke the lid pouring and was super bummed. Did not know it's a thing to hold the lid when pouring. Still use the teapot because it's great.

I wanted an all glass teapot and infuser for brewing loose leaf and herbal teas, and this is a great and affordable option for personal use (I paid around $20 for the 20.3 oz teapot). It would work fine for two people too. It has a nice traditional design to it, but the all glass construction gives a slightly modern feel. I noticed some design imperfections in terms of symmetry and alignment of the handle and spout, but it is apparently hand-crafted so I'm not surprised. I have absolutely no complaints given the price and its overall performance. Some tips: Pour slowly so that it does not spill out the top, and be careful to secure or remove the lid when pouring to prevent it from popping out by accident. I've had some spills and close calls when in a rush. The infuser is deep but the teapot is relatively wide, so I feel you need to make at least 12 oz to get a decent infusion. The glass infuser has 12 small slits on the bottom for circulation, which isn't ideal but probably necessary to preserve sturdiness. I tend to lift and reset the infuser once or twice during steeping to encourage better circulation. The glass is medium thickness at best, so handle with some caution and care, especially the glass infuser. If you do break the infuser, all is not lost because it will accommodate most generic stainless steel infusers (double check your measurements) although you will not be able to use the lid while steeping. A reminder that this is not double-walled/insulated, so your tea will quickly cool down unless you put it on a low flame, which it is capable of handling.

This little glass pot is so cute. I literally purchased it just to have something pretty and colorful on the stove AND to make simmer pots. So I place fruit and herbs in this little teapot with water, sit it on the stove and let the smells of orange and cinnamon and clove fill my house. I love it! Cons: it’s glass so it’s fragile. I don’t place it I thr dishwasher, and I have a spot on a shelf for it so it won’t break when not I use. Seems to be able to take long periods of heat. Sometimes it’s on the stove for 2 hours. But it’s a low heat. I haven’t actually boiled water in it…but I suspect if I wanted to I would need to turn the eye up high.

It's smaller than I thought. It makes two cups easy. It's easy to wash. I am enjoying my purchase and I would recommend it to others. I use the leafs at least twice, and the second tea is almost as strong as the first one.

I just want to say that this is the cheapest pot I have ever purchased. I would rate it a Zero but that option isn’t available. After using it for only the second time, the glass pot shattered on my stove from the heat — even though I was using it on a very low temperature. It was advertised as a heat-resistant glass pot, but it clearly is not. The glass broke into many pieces, making it unsafe to use and impossible to clean up properly. I had to throw it away immediately. I’m very disappointed in the quality and misleading advertising of this product. I would like a full refund to my original form of payment and expect better quality control for items advertised as heat-resistant cookware.

I'm trying to reach the company because their beautiful pot was badly broken and I wanted to show why returning it isnt a good idea with all the loose glass and potential for more shards coming off.

Eine Glaskanne zu bestellen, kann schon ein mutiges Unterfangen sein. Das liegt nicht immer am Versender. Das Paket ist nicht allein und muß einiges aushalten können. Ich packte also vorsichtig aus, um mögliche Scherben gleich dokumentieren zu können. Die Kanne war aber heil. Schon im Seidenpapier machte sie eine absolut tolle Figur. Ich mag diese Kanne, sie ist formschön. Ich hab bereits die große Variante mit 1,2l, jetzt kam die kleine für die Arbeit hinterher. Sie ist schön anzuschauen, der Filter leicht einzusetzen und rauszunehmen, ist gut eingepasst und hat genau das richtige Maß an Durchlässigkeit, nicht zu viel, nicht zu wenig. Brösel und Krümmel im Tee ergeben sich dadurch äußerst selten. Die Kanne ist robust, sofern man das von einer Glaskanne sagen kann. Sie wurde im Stolpern auch schon unsanfter abgesetzt und hat es ausgehalten. Der schön geschwungene Hals tropft nicht. Es läuft auch nix daran herunter. Und auch hier: Mal gegen eine Tasse dengeln, kein Problem. Sie stand auch schon mal fast leer auf dem Stövchen, hat sie auch ausgehalten. Auch Säubern kein Problem. Öffnung ist groß genug, der Rest geht mit einer Flaschenbürste. Soviel Text, du merkst schon: Lieblingsteil :) Einen Punkt hab ich aber: Beim Eingiessen Deckel festhalten.
