Love this thing! I was a bit skeptical about buying it but I am glad that I did. Super easy to use. Just a magnet and easy to move around the tank. I can see everything that is going on in my nano tank and it helped me find a parasite that was eating my coral. I would absolutely buy it again.

I’m so happy I got this magnifying glass. My fish is caught ich 2 weeks ago and I’m using this to monitor her scales because some are shiny and ich is so determined. I hope to examine and monitor more. This came super fast and holds well against the fish tank glass!

THis is an amazing little magnifying glass with no visible center dot to obscure the view of your tank inhabitants.

I read some prior reviews which suggested that the zoom was barely 1.5x. I went to the website and it's closer to 4x for the mini version, which I decided to buy. I think I understand the prior commenter's concerns regarding the zoom. If the feature is very close behind the lens, the zoom is pretty minimal, but if the feature is 2-6" back, the zoom is much, much better. I've got shrimp, and this is fantastic for watching those tiny arms/legs(?) move about while they do their thing.

Works great, magnet is coated to not leach into tank. Only thing i would say is to be aware of where you leave it on the tank if your tank gets any sunlight or is under a bright ceiling light - can cause a lensing effect. Great product

Ordered the 3” with the additional orange lens. Make sure your felt attached to the magnifier does not have a bunch of adhesive on the edge. Mine must have had poor manufacturing because the felt was warped an there’s sticky adhesive stuck inside the felt. Every time I move the magnifier, I get hard-to-remove sticky adhesive all over my starphire glass. At first I panicked as I thought it was a scratching my glass. It’s a pain to remove the adhesive every time I want to move it. I try lifting it far enough off the glass so it doesn’t rub on the glass but the in-tank magnet often falls off and onto the sand bed… and at that point what’s the purpose for the get anyways. It’s a pain I might just return it. Also, if you have anything over maybe a 15 gallon, just get the 4”. The 3inch is mediocre.

This is an amazing accessory for any reef tank under 30 gallons. Shows coral and fish in great definition and moves easily

Expensive, but provides interesting view into 20 gallon shrimp tank.

Leaving a mess of glue streaks on my glass. I love this thing, but it just didnt last long enough, i can mod my way outta this. If you dont plan to do photography, just use the glass with your hand and pass on the magnet part.
