How much does the saw weigh with the battery would it work or a 77 yr women

I love this saw!!! It weighs 6lbs. Easy to hold. I don't have long fingers or big hands so I do need to use my left hand to depress the safety button on the left side of the saw to start it cutting. I would suggest ordering the handle for it. That might help holding it. I didn't order that. I much prefer cordless. By the way I'm 60 yes old. This would be a great gift for a woman or man. My roofer used it said it was great to use. If your a DIY person BUY IT!!!
