The extender is perfect addition to the gps. I drive a freight shaker. And I can’t believe how it stays in place.

This really works great, but tends to slide around. I tethered mine to 3 points on the dash to keep it stabilizef and it works great

OK guys I needed this to not my Garmin GPS cause I have one that I keep in my vehicle but when I go out and do fieldwork, I’ll take it with me and I mark where I’m going in it and I just needed it to fast and better than the beanbag one that I got because when I’m driving around it slides and moves it’s been good and it holds my Garmin 61 up well but I wanted one in the work truck that is kind of a little permanent and won’t slide around, especially when it goes up against a glass. It’s sometimes difficult to reach up there and grab it and just not safe this solve that problem but I gotta be honest. I haven’t actually mounted it in the truck yet. I have it and have used the beanbag a couple of times because before I mount the base on it, I need to get some isopropyl alcohol and clean off the dash so that any armor, all or cleaner or fancy stuff that people wipe it with makes it stick better cause if there’s any type of oil on it like armor roll it won’t stick very well. It needs to be a really clean surface so that is why I just haven’t done it yet, but I plan to I promise within the next 6 to 7 years to have done that if I’m still working, I may not because I plan on retiring in about two years, so yeah, I might stick it to the side of the truck or stick it on the hood. Let them work on it but anyways it will do the job that I want it for when I finally do get it installed.

It’s ok. Mount to gps unit ball joint is too loose. What’s amazing about this is the suction cup. Sticks to anything! They should market the stick instead of the unit

Ok, this thing was stuck to my windshield for three years. I tried pulling it off the first year I had it to place into another vehicle, but it would not budge. When I did m car. I had to scrap it off with a puddy knife. The sticky gel was incredibly stuck. Sadly it cannot be adhered again. Don’t plan on moving this to another windshield. Buy one for each vehicle. Never had an issue with it!

Let me get to the chase. The ball is perhaps a hairline smaller than a regular GARMIN ball socket. Result ... The screen will drop face down and not stay snuggly fit as an OEM GARMIN would perform. It does stay in the socket but either you stick something to make it face you or at the first bumps (which Toronto has way too many) it will flop down. Forcing you to flip it up every 300 metres or so!😡 Consequently... I stuck a fabric band aid to the ball and make up for the hair line gap. Problem solved. The base stays put because the seller provided a good 3M double sided adhesive disc. I wish the makers of this item could fix this problem. Otherwise it is a very functional item. Price is reasonable and eliminates the previous problem I had with the Garmin weighted base every time I took a sharp corner. It would slide all the way to the passenger side. If I would recommend it? I would not until the manufacturer fixes this fit problem. Once they do eliminate this issue I would gladly recommend it. Not before.

Very convenient. However find it loses suction sometimes when on a hot windscreen.

This mount was great as the corner I like my gps to be is uneven and nothing really sticks there. Even those mounting disks come off after a while. This mount has gel like suction cups which grab on and does not let go. Very satisfied with the product and highly recommend.
