what kind of papers and rolling tips work best with this?

element king size rice papers or premium zigzag blunt papers.  .. tips=  RAW Cone tips r best , but you can use any kind of non prerrolled tips. the prerolled tip do not fit in end of cone

How do I go about using this??

You make the cone first before you fill it. Placing the funnel and the orange stem together, you take your paper and wrap it around the stem starting at the skinny end, lick the sealing end of the paper and make sure it's tight when you finish the roll, the stem is just long enough for a rolling paper. At that point you will have your paper in a cone shape still on the stem, pull the stem out (the roll is still empty at this point and will be flimsy). Once the orange stem is removed place the wider end of the roll you just did back onto the clear funnel. Pour your smoking substance into the funnel, then it will funnel will make sure everything gets inside your empty wrap. Go until about 2/3rds full then twist up the open end to make sure it's tight. If you want to add a filter, roll it up and put it in the indentation on the skinny end of the orange stem and then wrap your paper around it just like you would without the filter.

I really don't think so it doesn't work with the per done tips I ordered 500 raw tips for around 5 bucks a,and they work great this thing is awesome I roll perfect cones every time very quickly

Yes! They work very well with this. I buy the prerolled raw cone tips, but I also have used the roll your own ones. Both are great with this and it will change your life for ever!
