They work well enough but the swatches can tend to blur quickly. The readings start off one color but blur or fade into another. You need to read the strip quickly

We have an indoor pool and I'm not good at figuring out how to balance the chemicals. Or at least I wasn't until I got these test strips. They keep me on track. The only thing I have to remember is to add phosphate remover anytime I add water to the pool, because the strips don't measure that. Otherwise, they're fabulous. PS At first, I'd go to the app for an interpretation, but they told me to add waaaayyy too many chemicals. I just look at the strip and adjust accordingly. It works out perfectly now. Don't throw money away!

This is my go-to for checking pool chemical levels. Used with the Clorox app, it makes it easy for my wife and me to maintain our pool all summer without hiring a pool service. You just test the water, enter the results, and the app tells you what to add to keep the water balanced and clear. It does nudge you toward their brand of chemicals, but following the recommendations has kept our pool from getting cloudy and it stays clear all season.

Been using these for 6 years and find them always consistent and reliable. Have had issues with other brands being “expired” and not reading the acid (stabilizer) levels, this brand always works. If you are using test strips and they keep showing “no stabilizer” it’s likely bad/expired strips, don’t keep adding stabilizer or your pool WILL turn purple and need drained down and refilled to balance it again!

Chlorine and alkalinity are accurate. pH is way out.
