Great fit for smaller hands
Great Bass for a decent sound. A little time setting nut height, neck relief and pick up heights and it was off to the races!! Smaller handed adult, easy to play and comfortable as it weighs less than a full size bass. So far so good, more than worth the price in my opinion

Great Bass for the player with normal hands!
After tuning it, I tried it out. It's great having a smaller bass with great sound like this Ibanez! It looks great, sounds good, and is responsive. One of the best things is that it's on the smaller side, enough that those of us who aren't wide receivers or have long fingers can easily play it! I'm thrilled I spent a little more to get an Ibanez over the lower-priced basses. The price is still very reasonable, and Ibanez has an excellent reputation for quality instruments.

The Guitar Player's Perfect Guilty Pleasure Short Scale Bass!
Just my opinion, but this just might be the guitar player's perfect guilty pleasure short scale bass! With its remarkably short 28" scale, it's so comfortable, balanced, light & easy to play! Amazingly inexpensive. Flawless fit & finish (at least mine was right out of the box - and in a really gorgeous matte slightly textured weathered black finish w/all black hardware). Just one minor out of the box issue - slight buzzing, but only on the E string and only when fretting the E on the first fret. So, possibly the second fret needed/needs minor dressing - but that was more than I wanted to attempt, so instead I simply raised the E string a hair at the bridge and the buzz was instantly gone, with no effect on E string volume that I could detect. The pickups sound fine to me. A true little gem at a truly bargain price. (Note - the gig bag was not included - it was a separate purchase - but for the price what can you expect?!)

Nice little bass with some work...
I ordered the blue Mikro bass from Amazon in late 2023 on a discount deal and did not receive it until late January. There appears to be some supply chain issues with these. That being said, I did finally get it and was happy with the overall look of the bass. I am a guitarist, but I like to play some bass now and then. I have a Squire P Bass but the scale length is a bit tough for me to get used to. I had played the short scale Mikro at GC and really liked it. There were some QC issues with the GC model like fret sprout, but I expect those kind of things with a sub $200 instrument. On first inspection, I did notice all of the tone and volume nuts were loose so I had to fix that. I played the one I got for a little while and it had a similar fret sprout issue that the GC one had. It also did not want to stay in tune very well. I finally pulled the strings off and carefully worked the fret ends with a fret file. The fret board was very dry so I applied some F1 oil. On the reassembly, i began to notice quite a few quality issues. First, all of the tuner nuts and screws were loose. Not a big deal, tightened. After seeing the tone knob issue and now this, I decided to check everything. All of the bridge screws were loose and some were not seated - a couple turns out (see photo). One was completely stripped out and would not tighten up. I went ahead and plugged the stripped hole and redrilled it. Everything is fine on it now and I really like the bass. The finish is great and feels good to play. If you have played guitar for any length of time you have probably fixed issues like this on your own guitars or have a good tech that can address them. If I didn't like the bass, I would have just sent it back. For the money and a little time put into it I'm still pleased with it. There are not many short scale basses out there to choose from. I like Ibanez products but I wish they would have put a little more care into the bass I bought.

A Bass Guitar, that's made for Guitar Players!
I've been playing guitars for over 30 years and on many guitars. I messed around with a Squire bass guitar many years ago, but it was huge and heavy, traded it in. I have 4 Ibanez guitars and was intrigued by the Ibanez Micro Short Scale Bass. It's the size of a guitar, weighs around 6 1/2 pounds and sounds amazing, easy to play and a lot of fun. Definitely can be used on Stage, tuning keys are ok, pick-ups, ok too. Someday I'll upgrade the pickups and tuning keys, but not a rush, this Bass is plain fun to play!

This really surprised me!
I have been playing a Squire Classic Vibes Mustang bass & always wanted to try one of these out. The sound really impressed me. It had way more definition than my Mustang bass & more versatility. The 28.6” scale length took a little getting used to because your arm doesn’t stretch out but once I got used to it, it became more comfortable. I recommend purchasing the Ibanez Mikro bass soft case. It’s nicer than my more expense Fender case and has 2 more pockets. I really like the walnut finish because it doesn’t attract finger prints. It’s very light with very little to no neck-dive The only CON I had was the bass being noisy. If you live in a home that has interference, you will hear noise. All I did was shielded it using copper shield tape found here on Amazon and I lined both pickup cavities and the control cavity and I soldered a wire from the P-bass cavity to the J cavity and from there to the 1st volume pot and it’s nearly completely silent. I know my home is noisy because my Mustang not the Mikro made noise at 2 different music stores before shielding.

Superb and worth every penny.
I received my brand new Mikro Bass about 2 days before the projected delivery date. I was in awe of the guitar when I opened it. It’s perfect. Not a single flaw found. The body is glossy and pristine, and the neck is smooth and balanced. The sunburst brown color is exquisite and absolutely gorgeous, and the neck wood color is a beautiful natural finish. It looks even better in person than the stock picture shown. I purchased mine for $179.99. No other bass comes close to that price, and it’s a Top Tier brand quality product. There was an inspection tag attached as well, which means it was thoroughly examined by the manufacturers before it was shipped to me. This is my first bass, and I am so incredibly pleased with it. It’s a Christmas gift, so I’ve yet to actually play it, as I was only allowed to examine it for issues, and to see it for the first time (I’m expecting a mini amp, strap, and tuner as gifts to be delivered tomorrow). I’m so excited to play it. I’ve been an experienced drummer for 12 years. I’ve thought about gettin a bass guitar for a few years, but hadn’t given much thought to it until recently. I did a bit of research on brands, products, and prices for a few days, but the moment I saw this bass, I had to have it. It caught my attention immediately. And the price couldn’t be beaten. I HIGHLY recommend this bass. It’s a work of musical art. The short scale neck is very comfortable, so you wouldn’t have to reach so far upwards to play low notes on the fretboard. 5/5 👍🏻👍🏻 ⭐️

Don’t let the size fool you
Since my bass playing is rare nowadays, I wanted to make it easier to grab the guitar and start playing. So I decided to change my older Ibanez to this smaller one. I haven’t regretted the decision. This does just about everything as its bigger brothers do. The sound is great and playing is so much easier now. The quality is great, fretboard is just right and potentiometers do their job well. I really recommend this to anyone who wants to play bass, but the normal-sized feels a bit too much to handle.

Ótimo som
Um ibanez dispensa comentários. Que baixo incrível e com um som muito bom. Eu só não me atentei na descrição que se tratava de um baixo 3/4, mas tudo bem, amei o som dele.
