Yes, the beakers are smooth inside. Not really sure why you would ask this question. Regardless, I have purchased these items several times now for work-related lab testing. The price is excellent, they are durable, and work well for the rugged use they get.

Does this plastic discolor, or get foggy over time?

The plastic does not get foggy over time. But the use of "over time" here is very vague. These are disposable items that I do use several times before I throw them away. I use strong chemicals (ferric chloride, hydrogen peroxide, etc.) without any problems. For long-term use you need to use glass rather than plastic.
