What size is the hole in the center for the dowell?

I wouldn't buy this if I were you. Mine came busted all to hell. The hold is probably a little over 1/2 inch in diameter.

How silky smooth does this chalk feel? Does it give it a slippery feel like talc products in a bottle? Thanks.

I found the chalk feel good really helps the cue to slide nicely through my hand.
