I like how it makes my clothes feel

Calgon is great for use in hard water and rusty water--no rust stains on laundry. However, packaging was terrible!! The set of 3 Calgon was just thrown loose in the gray plastic shipping bag with 2 food itemss packaged in light-weight cardboard boxes. Calgon leaked all over everything. Sogggy, sticky boxes, puddle in the bag and on my floor. They should not have been packaged together and Calgon should have been packaged securely, not loose and notwith food. What a mess.

I moved to La from portland a few years ago and couldn’t figure out why my gym clothes didn’t smell fresh after i laundered them. I tried all the highly rated sport clothing cleaners (even soaked them overnight) and nothing seemed to work. i was ready to replace all my gear until i came across this rec on reddit. calgon liquid water softener is a godsend. i add it to every load with my bougie detergent and my clothes come out smelling so fresh and feeling so clean. yes it’s expensive. I go through a lot of it, so i buy the three pack so i don’t run out. buy the three pack. use sparingly. you won’t regret it.

I’ve been using this for decades. If you have hard water this is an essential. It’s one of the few things I can still afford.

Have used Calgon liquid for over 40 years in my laundry. We have a private well that has a lot of iron in the water. Water softener with iron removing salt does work somewhat, but ……. It gets worse during certain times of the year. I use 3-4 capfuls in every load. It definitely helps. I recommend this especially to people with a well. The missing star is because it is hard to find and it does calcify around the cap somewhat when not used in awhile.

I order and use this product regularly in my laundry and find it very effective. HOWEVER, IT ARRIVED TODAY AS 6 SEPARATE BOTTLES LOOSELY SET IN A LARGE BOX ALONG WITH A HARDCOVER BOOK. THE BOTTLE CAPS WERE NOT TIGHTENED SO LIQUID SEEPED OUT AND DRIPPED ONTO THE BOOK. THE BOOK SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROTECTED FROM LIQUIDS AND TEARS, AND THE 6 BOTTLES SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROPERLY SEALED. THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AMAZON FINDS A MUCH BETTER WAY OF PACKAGING ANY LIQUID ITEMS AND PROTECTING BOOKS FROM DAMAGE.

I put capful in water for a good load but I add half a cap more if have whole load as clothes come out softer and not hard touch even Bounce does its job as before using Calgon the bounce would not even open therefore ruining clothes,,thinned and getting holes,,rips and fading colors before but now I Love how this works so much better and softer nonclingy clothes😍just Expensive for small bottle

I have hard water at home and have been looking for things to help soften the water for washing and showering. This seems to help, but it's kind of hard for me to tell.

this is much better for silky texture for RV toilets
