Are these made of plastic or concrete?

Feels like a real cinder block. Not plastic. They are cute.

Are these aquarium safe? What type of cement is used?

It depends on a lot of factors. Are they delicate FW fish (angels, ciclds, etc), are the tank fillers (gups, barbs, tri sharks, etc) or are they maintenance fish (algae etr, plecks, etc) or are they swimming dumpsters (goldfish)? Do you love your fish? Are your tank Citizens pets or just fish to you? Do you care about your fish? Do you even like and want your fish? Do you hate or want to just get rid of them, but you can’t do it yourself so you let time do it for you? (Joke) maybe. Anyway, if you love your fish and consider them pets, even the swimming landfills (goldfish, which you really shouldn’t put with your other citizens), then ABSOLUTELY NOT!! If you don’t like your fish, things like this are the best way to make them unhappy. If it’s just goldfish, these types of bricks or materials aren’t as dangerous as your goldfish. In fact, if just a brickwater aquarium, I definitely wouldn’t put goldfish with them. Goldfish release a very potent amount of ammonia that will break the matter up in these bricks. YOU DONT WANT TO PUT ANYTHING IN AN AQUARIUM THATS NOT AQUA APPROVED OR COATED WITH AN AQUA LAQUER. Waste from fish WILL BREAK EVERYTHING DOWN EXCEPT GLASS MATERIALS, like marbles. They want to sell you their products and will sell you on “OKs, definitely’s, and absolutely’s”. If you want to know the REAL ANSWER, when a company says “Absolutely, they’ll be perfect”, or the famous “people say…”, just ask, if they guarantee it’s perfectly safe, then ask them to please sign and date a statement, so in case all your fish die in 6 months to a year, you want to prove to the tank manufacturer that it’ couldn’t possibly be the blocks causing mass damage. A mentor told me this 25 yrs ago and in that 25 yrs you’ll be happy to know how many choices of these bricks you’ll have to choose from. In fact, I’ll just give you the list now. So be ready, in 25+ years, absolutely ZERO companies will put in writing they can be used. BCUZ LEGALLY THEY CANNOT BCUZ IT’LL BE FALSE ADVERTISING. I can’t legally tell you to not buy anything approved, but I can absolutely legally tell you that. That if you like to watch your fish just float all day, these are awesome for that. If you like to watch your fish swimming, this isn’t for those type of aquarium owners. Get the idea?

Do these work with 1/64 scale cars

If you are looking for something that is to scale for a 1/64 car, then these mini cinder blocks would be on the large side. With that being said, they will certainly work with them. It just depends on how much you want it to be to scale. Acacia Grove does also sell a 1/35 scale mini cinder block mold to pour your own mini cinder blocks, and these would be much closer in scale to your 1/64 scale cars. I hope that helps! Everything is Cuter in Miniature - PROOF!

I make miniatures, and the other day I had a vision of a miniature thing that called for cinder blocks. I'm so glad that I found these, because they are WONDERFUL! They are going to be perfect for my 1:12 scale project. They were wrapped so safely, and got to me immediately. I could not be more pleased! I've always said that everything is cuter in miniature, and if these aren't absolute proof of that, I don't know what is. :) Highly recommended for all your miniature making needs!

Fantastic and to scale - Perfect for 1/12 Figures

I was hesitant to buys these due to the cost, but they are better than I imagined. Scale is great, they look realistic and have weight to them. They are perfect for any 1/12 scaled figure like marvel legends. I plan on using these for a diorama and I definitely will order more. Shipped quickly and packaged neatly. I block had a busted corner but i'm fine with it. It adds to the look and realism. Excellent product.

Cinder blocks but mini

I rarely right a review but I love these things. Grabbed only a 24 pack to see what they were like and I was blown away. They have real weight to them and feel like real little cinder blocks. Will be great for my diorama building when my little infant allows me to have the time to do so 😂. Will def be ordering more. Plus the little note was a nice touch as well. Sellers that care. 👌

Really Cute

I have a son who is a general contractor, and so I bought him these mini blocks to put on his desk: a fidget spinner for builders, if you will. These really are to scale, feel like real concrete blocks, and could probably be put to use as decor at the outside of a doll house. Otherwise, they're just fun to stack and knock down.

Works great for my project

These are awesome, Im now purchasing them for a third time. The price is more than fair, I purchased 120 of them three times. They work great for my little project; Im re-creating my families old milkbarn at 1:12 scale.
