9 Inch Lever Syphon Kit

Bought not knowing if it would work. It does work, toilet flushes great now. Easy to install, value for money. Would definitely recommend .

replaced ex one that had failed fitted ok and worked as expected. Good instructions and provided with rubber seating ring inside cistern and lower fixing ring. Fitted to a close coupled unit and also replace doughnut gasket and galv fixing bracket. So check what you require.

A replacement for one that was 20 years old and broke.

It replaced the damaged syphon that was fitted as standard , the original syphon was an 11” model and I was told a 9” would not work, but I took a chance and it works perfectly, in fact better than the original. The syphon it’s self is easy to fit but if like my cistern yours is a close coupled model you need to be a bit careful dismantling and refitting the tank

Perfect replacement for 9” syphon. I had previously tried a universal fit syphon, but this was useless as the telescopic adjustment would not lock properly. This one comes with the correct seals and I was able to swap out with no leaks in under 30 mins. Works perfectly. Fantastic, thank you.

It's cheap and flimsy has almost no spring back and so about half the time the valve stays slightly open and trickles, the flush itself is weak.

This is the 2nd syphon I replaced in my mother in law's cistern within a few months because the 1st one, a Mcdee 9in syphon does not work properly in her old Ideal Standard cistern. I wouldn't have believed using the same make even if it is not for the same model can make so much difference! I was extremely happy until I put the lid back and found the C link is so high, the arm of the flush kept hitting the lid!!! Why on earth would they put a C link so big, the lift brings the arm higher than the 9in height of the syphon??? That makes no sense. The least they could do is to provide a 2nd smaller C link as an option but no, you literally get the bare minimum in the pack. I had to switch the smaller c link from the Mcdee to fit onto this syphon in order to make it work. Hence the 3 stars. Otherwise, the syphon itself works fine. Shame about the C link. I would advise anyone buying this product to keep the old C link just in case you need to swap it like I had to.
