“Sticky Superhero: Gorilla Black Duct Tape Saves the Day!
I recently got my hands on the Gorilla Black Duct Tape, and let me tell you, it’s like duct tape on steroids! Unleash the Beast: This tape is no ordinary sticky strip; it’s the Hulk of duct tapes. When I say it’s heavy-duty, I mean it – it could probably hold up a collapsing building (okay, maybe not, but you get the idea). Stickiness Supreme: Whether I’m patching up a leaky pipe, fixing a torn backpack strap, or creating impromptu Halloween costumes, this tape sticks to everything. Rough surfaces? No problem. Uneven wood? It laughs in the face of uneven wood. Double-Thick Magic: The double-thick adhesive is like a magical bond. It grips, it clings, and it doesn’t let go. I’ve used it to repair my garden hose, secure outdoor decorations during a storm, and even temporarily fix my kid’s broken toy. It’s like MacGyver in tape form. Weather Warrior: Rain or shine, this tape stands tall. It’s weather-resistant, UV-resistant, and probably resistant to alien invasions (okay, maybe not that last part). But seriously, it’s tough enough to withstand the elements. Endless Possibilities: I’ve patched up my tent during a camping trip, labeled storage boxes, and even created a makeshift belt when mine snapped (don’t judge – desperate times call for duct tape fashion). The possibilities are as vast as the universe (well, almost). Conclusion: In a world where problems need fixing and creativity knows no bounds, the Gorilla Black Duct Tape is my trusty sidekick. It’s the Batman utility belt of adhesives – always there when you need it. So go ahead, tape your way to victory!

The Iron Grip of the Modern Age
Bow before the Gorilla Duct Tape, 35 yards of raw, unyielding force wrapped in a roll no mortal tool can rival. This is not tape—it is forged resolve, a gray river of strength that binds wood to steel, plastic to stone, hope to disaster. At 1.88 inches wide, it spreads like a banner of victory, sealing leaks, mending breaks, silencing the chaos of entropy itself. Where lesser tapes whimper and peel, Gorilla stands defiant—its adhesive bite so fierce it clings as though sworn by oath. From the battlefield of broken furniture to the storm-swept field of outdoor repairs, it reigns supreme, a silent champion of improvisation. To wield it is to command the power of builders, fixers, and warriors alike. Truly, this is not a roll of tape—it is the gray Excalibur of repair, 35 yards of destiny in your hand.

reliable, strong, smooth
This tape does exactly what it says it will. It’s tough, sticks well, and holds up in different weather conditions just like it’s advertised. No complaints, it’s the kind of product you reach for when you need something that just works. Solid choice for repairs, outdoor use, or anywhere you need serious sticking power.

Ideal tape to use over duct tape brand. An honest comperable review!
I use duck tape on almost anything and always was disappointed with the tape . It seemed to work great for a while but then it would loose its adhesion properties. This tape doesn't!!! The pros; -Extremely sticky! the adhesion properties of this tape are great! -sticks to anything. Plastic, paper, glass, tile, even brick surfaces! -stays put until removed -Thick durable construction of this tape allows for an amazing load capacity. I personally have used this to hang weights over 5 pounds with no problems at all! -Paintable! you can cover the tape piece with paint if you are in need of a flawless finish in your project. I used this to cover a hole in a wall and then just painted right over to kind of trick the eye and you have to really look hard to even see that it has tape on it. the paint stuck very well and I was very pleased with my finished project. The Cons: -You can not use this tape on painted surfaces. IT WILL RIP THE PAINT OFF THE WALL WHEN REMOVED! don't make the mistake that I did. -does not work as well when it has had contact with water. don't use it in the rain or when it is humid outside due to the perspiration on the adhesion surface. however it can be used on a surface before coming into contact with water ( say you have to seal a leak on something, if you apply it while it is dry and let it seal for a moment before it comes into contact with water, that works just fine) -You need to use scissors or something to cut the tape away from the roll, unlike the duct tape brand where you can simply tear a piece off. The BEAST of duct tape!
I LOVE this black gorilla duct tape. It comes in handy for SO many uses…too many to describe. Good sticking power, fairly easy to rip without needing a scissor. Not water proof but will repel water to an extent.

Great stuff, but not really "duct tape"
I use Gorilla tape a lot, but I don't think of it as "duct tape". IMHO, that's a different product (which I also occasionally use, for different purposes). Gorilla tape is a lot thicker, stronger, and stickier than duct tape. Great, but sometimes you want something thin that will "blend in" better with its surroundings -- i.e. regular duct tape. Also, another reason not to call it "duct tape": I read an article in a magazine years ago, about laboratory tests on (regular) duct tape. I think it was in Consumer Reports but I'm not sure. They tested duct tape for all kinds of uses, and it was fine for many purposes, but the one thing they warned you NOT to use it for was ducts! It can't stand up to the temperature swings or vibration. Yet another reason not to call it "duct tape": So why is it called "duct tape"? I did a little more research, and found that "duct tape" was just a language error. This other article said that it was originally created for the US Marine Corps to temporarily seal ammunition boxes, as they were dragged ashore through the water during amphibious landings on islands in World War 2. And they called it "duck tape" as a kind of joke because it was (temporarily) waterproof. (Temporary was all they needed.) And I thought "Duck Tape" was just a specific brand of the stuff! Turns out that's what it was really called! So feel free to seal your ammo boxes with it, but it's bad for medical or hygiene use -- i.e., keep it off your ducts. Not sure about the Gorilla stuff though. Might be good to hold King Kong temporarily to the Empire State Building while you set up your camera angles.

This Tape Sticks
Hands down the best duct tape around. Duct tape fixes everything and the folks at Gorilla seemed to have taken that as a personal challenge.
