this light is soooo cool, it doesn’t need to be fitted to certain aquarium, it expands and contracts and the colors are sooooo sick, you can let them change back and forth or set it to a solid color - also the remote is so helpful!!!

SO many aquarium lights will NOT work with a seperate automatic timer, but this one does! It saves the last used rgb color setting and brightness level even when the power is entirely cut, which is exactly what I needed. I comes on with the right setting everyday without me having to do anything, no using the goofy little remote. (the remote is the only con, it's icky) If you're looking for an rgb light you can hook up to an automatic timer, this one will work. It's also way brighter than I expected, and after a few weeks I've noticed new growth on my anubias plants. In full disclosure I have three lights on my tank, two of this brand along the back which run for 6 hours, and one old 48'' Aqueon along the front which runs all day. The Aqueon just wasn't bright enough for my plants. Altogether, the two Lustaled have made a large improvement, and I'm very happy with them.

I am very happy with this product. I was looking for a light that would fully illuminate my 10 gallon aquarium and this light does a great job. I have it positioned above the water spanning the length of the tank where it often gets splashed with water from the filter. The plastic screen on the bottom of the light seems to prevent any issues from minor contact with water very adequately. The only drawback is that I could not fit the lid on the tank while using this light. My solution was simply to cover around 3/4 of the tank with clear seran wrap, which effectively slows evaporation, allows sufficient air exchange, and still allows the light to illuminate the water. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to light up their aquarium with vibrant color, including the blue light required to make glow fish glow.

This is a well made light, great price. It has a multitude of dimmable colors for any mood your fish or reptile may have. Easy to set up and use. Other than it needing a watch battery # 2025 sold separately for the remote it was pretty easy. Very happy with my choice.

Very nice light, just not super bright. Probably not good for growing plants, but it's an awesome light.

Overall panel lenght is shorted than expected and overall brightness was not as expected. unless you have piranha fish the red led color just doesn't fit.

Awful product. Remote doesn’t work, light is not bright. This is more of an appearance light than a light than living creatures can rely on. It has pretty colors, only some of them work though, but that’s about the only pro. It’s cheaply made, power cord is short and in my opinion a total waste of money.
