Design Toscano English Rosette Indoor/Outdoor Sculptural Garden Plinth Base Statue Riser, Large 12.5 Inch Tall, Cast Stone Resin, Antique Stone Finish

This item is quite smaller than expected, but it's a nice addition to my little garden. I had to elevate it a little bit with a square cement brick. The packing material that the seller used (i.e., Styrofoam) made a helluva lot of mess while trying to take the item out of the box. So, I suggest buyers should open the box outdoors. I previously mentioned this issue when I purchased some other items from Design Toscano, but the seller still continues to use the same material for packing products. Styrofoam should be banned entirely for shipping all consumer goods. I am quite satisfied with the design and quality of this product. Delivery was faster than initially scheduled. But Amazon is rather tardy in updating the shipping news.

Will arrive in huge boxes within styrofoam blocks. It’s a mess. But they are well protected from damage this way. However, they are nice and hard to find in a brick and mortar store. They are nice and heavy and have a nice size surface top. Since these will be outside and in my case out of the sun I expect they will hold up well. Not sure about if you were to place these out in the elements as resin always tends to fall apart. If you have a covered area I am sure these will do well for you. Nice classic look only why they could be better was if they were made of concrete

measurements are perfect. Material perfect. Has a nice weight to it and looks good among the flowers with the Buddha sitting atop.

Looking at descriptions and photos of the both the large and small English Rosette Plinth it was difficult to fully recognize the size and shape difference between the two. I bought both and the small is almost too small and certainly too small for the Grande 39" Venus statue, the base of the statue would hang too far over the edge and would not look good or correct. The grande Rosette Plinth 20" is substantially larger than the small Plinth 13" just visually when you look at it in person and the 20" Plinth is shaped slightly different, not completely vertical lines as the small Plinth has, hard to tell this by the photos. The Grande Plinth surprised me is a good way and it is large enough to correctly fit the Grande Venus statue and looks very nice. I will find a use for the small Plinth but it is small, maybe a small decorative flower pot would work or a small statue up to about 24" I am guessing. I like the Grande Plinth is large enough to be seen and have a presence to it and works nicely in the garden.

You know it's nice enough for what it does, but I feel it's about 30% over priced.

Very solid yet light enough to carry. I was very impressed with the quality. I have a very heavy clay pot on each and they are holding up.

I wanted to spruce up a small area of the garden with an accent piece so I ordered a beautiful Amillary Sphere from Amazon and quickly realized I needed a base to put it on. I studied many options before choosing this one, also from Amazon, and I couldn't be happier. It is truly a quality product, structurally sturdy but light enough to move it around if need be. It is also very beautifully rendered to look like a classic stone pillar. I've included a picture of the amarillary's 8.5 inch diameter base as seated so that you can have an idea of the size. I highly recommend this product as great value for money and the impact it will make in your own garden.
