Coating can deteriorate even if treating with care.
Had an identical baking Analon 9X 13 inch for several years but baked a blueberry buckle several times and it was staining even though the temp was only 350. Don't recall ever using metal utensils in pan so not sure why the coating was showing signs of wear. I did replace it with this pan as I still had a perfectly good lid from previous purchase.

Best meatloaf pan on the planet
High quality meat loaf pan with insert to drain fluid and cooks the meat without boiling it in itโs own juice. This means no rubbery meatloaf. The quality is A plus and discounted price is an added attraction. I highly recommend it.

REALLY SLICK!
I only received my pan from Amazon a few days ago, so haven't baked a cake in it yet. But yesterday evening I roasted garlic potatoes. Now, roasting cut-up potatoes isn't exactly brain surgery, but removing them from the pan, whether it's glass, metal or even lined with foil, is one tricky job no matter how much oil is used. They stick to everything and I end up literally chiseling them out. But not with this terrific new present I bought myself. They actually moved when I shook the pan a little. The biggest surprise was when I slid the pan onto my thick and large acrylic landing pad, it continued to slide and I had to stop it. Absolutely nothing has ever done that. At this point I only had to scoop the potatoes out. BTW, nothing touches this pan except silicone spoons or spatulas. Not taking any chances -- it was a delight to just spoon the potatoes into the serving bowl. I'm looking forward to baking a cake that will not come out as a "crumb" cake. I like to frost cakes in the pan, but the pieces are not exactly neat looking when lifted out.

Best Ever!
Anolon is the best I've found for bakeware. I've used several other brands, and brands that were recommended by friends and nothing comes close. Nothing sticks, cleans up easy, and food comes out perfect when baking or cooking.

ANOLON....THE BEST OF THE BEST
With all the Anolon products I own, I can't say I've ever found a problem with any of them. They are what they are advertised to be... strong, sturdy, great nonstick coating. The bakeware is wonderful, and reasonably priced as well.

Everyday Bakeware Until the Coating Flakes Off
I originally purchased the Anolon 5 piece set that includes the 9"x 9" pan, two round cake pans, cookie sheet and cooling rack. I liked baking with them so much I decided to get the 9"x 13" pan. This is good solid everyday bakeware. I am very careful to follow the manufacturers instructions for baking and cleaning and it's a breeze. I highly recommend this product. **UPDATE** (Feb. 2015) I've been using this bakeware for almost two years now and the coating on the 9"x9" pan is starting to flake off on the bottom. The 9"x9" pan is the one I use the most. I haven't had problems with the other Anolon pans from the set. I'm careful in how I clean the pans, but after two years of regular use it's possible I let a the pan soak overnight on a rare occasion. I'm surprised and disappointed that this has become a problem, and I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. I need to find a replacement for the 9"x9" pan and it won't be Anolon. I will continue to use the other pans in the set as long as the nonstick coating doesn't flake off.
