Will this work with a intex pool?

I ordered this for my Synergy 15 X 30 X 52 aluminum sided pool. We measured the old one and found the exact replacement. It was the exact measurement of the old one. Hard to get seal right. Leaking just a tiny bit

Is this basically a standard wide mouth skimmer kit? measurements on my current skimmer are slightly different?
