I purchased these to work on my Chevy Volt, #7mm was needed to change the cabin air filter, #8mm was needed to change engine air filter. Both tasks accomplished successfully and with ease. Good deal for my money.

I like the magnet

Magnets came out of socket on 2nd use

Work well but magnets fall out after some use. Need to be staked in

They trust very easily. The magnetic part is already falling out.

I needed magnetic sockets to remove the door mirror on my pickup. Without them, it would have been easy to drop a nut into the door panel, where it could never be retrieved. I used the 11mm, and it worked perfectly. One thing to note: the magnetic part is similar to a small washer inside the socket. This makes them particularly shallow. In my case, the socket was to shallow to fit over the threaded end of the bolt that I was removing the nut from. I solved this by using a non-magnetic deep wall socket to loosen the nut and bring it closer to the end of the bolt. Then, I used the magnetic socket to finish the job. These sockets are solid and well made. They were delivered quickly and did the job I needed.

The 3 socket drivers lock into your rapid load driver...the but drivers do not. Otherwise I like the little contraption that holds them all together and they seem like decent quality.
