They are great and wish I could give a 10 for excellent.

My God!!!! my childhood just slapped me in the face!!!!!!! Because pickles taste like the ones when I was a kid 7,8,9 years old I used to ask my mom to give me some what she eating and one day she was eating a pickle. She said OK bite it. I thought I was going to die. It was so bad tasting and good at the same time. One day she put a peppermint stick into it and gave it to me. I didn't share with no one thank you thank you so much.

These are so awful. I was a big fan of sour pickles when I was a kid. I was able to find some at a local grocery store a while back. But now they no longer carry them. I took one bite of the Best Maid and they were awful. They were sour but had a terrible underlying taste. They come in a plastic jar. Maybe that’s it. But the bottom line is I find them inedible. I threw them away. Might as well have burned a $20 bill. Highly not recommend

They are sour alright. Next time I will look for half-sour. Good price and a good dietary supplement.

The Best

Here in North Carolina. We have a little town called Mount Olive. They are know for Mount Olive Pickles. It's hard to find Sour Pickles in a gallon Glass Jar in most super markets around my area. We have a Piggly Wiggly that sells these but we were unable to take this 45 min. drive to get these. I thought buying Best Maid on Amazon would be just as good since they are grown and packaged in the South. Well, I was wrong. The pickles came in a gallon plastic jug. This really does change the taste. Second, few of pickles had blemishes on them. I have never gotten a blemish pickle from Mount Olive, never, ever never. My wife makes the best Relish. And these Best Maid pickles just didn't have the same results as Mount Olive ones. So in the future, we are going to just have to take that ride to Piggly Wiggle if we want the better ones. Some things are just worth the drive.

I grew up eating these sour pickles the store near my home stopped carrying them about 2 yrs ago but I found them here on Amazon and they taste exactly how I remember them to be. They are sour and have pucker powers lol, they have a great crisp crunch to them like a great pickle should. They are a 10 out of 10 for me and if you are looking for a really good juicy sour pickle these are the ones you want. I think this was a lucky jar because every pickle I have gotten out to eat have been huge normally you only get a few like that in the whole jar but I have had 6 so far and all have been larger then the normal size pickle.
