How do you dispose of the bag and contents?

There are some great storytellers here! Personally, we have a largish flower pot -- one of those plain orange crockery-type ones -- and the "lid" that usually goes under it, but in this case it goes on top (squirrels LOVE dog poop, so keep the pot covered or they will tear into and then leave dog poop all around the area). Line it with a plastic grocery bag, put these filled doggie-poop bags in it during the week and when your garbage is to be picked up, take the whole thing out of the pot, tie it off and throw it in the garbage. Replace the grocery bag and start again. These bags may be leak-proof, but they are NOT odor-proof, so if you're tossing single dog poop bags in the garbage all week, it will leave behind QUITE the odor, especially in the summer! Ugh! Hope that helps.

what is the thickness of the bags in mils? it might be on the box. I'm trying to avoid the very thin ones similar to grocery bags.

It doesn't say, but I've found them to be plenty strong enough. I have two large dogs and haven't had any problem. They're definitely thicker than the plastic grocery bags.

are those bags scented?

You do not understand, if you give me to choose the color, you can not send any color, you have send me, I ask, "blue". And those bags no are scented.
