Works very well! I love the sound of a straight piped exhaust, but the exhaust drone at highway speeds and sounds when merging are extremely annoying over time. This exhaust took about an hour to install because I had to Sawzall the muffler off first. Depending on your exhaust system, be sure to leave at least 1 exhaust hanger for support. I had 3 on my truck but all were towards the back so I inevitably lost 2. By carefully cutting, I was able to save the last one. Very good product! My brother in law has these on his Ford pickup and said they last over 5 years.

Just a few thousand miles and it sounds like a packed up muffler . Checking it for a "gift of sand" and the cat is still original - 346,000 miles. So still problems . Sounds great , not too loud . A nice steady rumble .

It’s a great first exhaust to get if you want one and don’t want to drop money on a flow master. Personally I loved it, I have a 05 Kia Sportage V6, had chopped the exhaust and need something to tone it down a little, I welded it with a Chicago electric flux core from harbor freight and it was an easy weld to do. If you have a vehicle that your want to put a exhaust on with out just chipping and leaving. Great investment

I like the sound of the muffler however at like 2,000 to 3,000 RPM this thing drones ridiculously. You will have to deal with that or find a solution... Myself what I did was buy some sound barrier and put it underneath My vehicle directly on top of the muffler all the way back and it solved the problem.

Last winter I had an ASE shop rebuild my 2.3 Lt. engine for my 1986 Ranger- 3 months later every ring was broke, I got into it myself, ported and polished the intake and head added a nice header. With 200 lbs cranking pressure I wanted the little beast to "Breathe!" this Glass pack does the job very well, not loud, but aids in my 30+ Mpg and 120 HP (11 to 1 CR)- I live 90 miles from town and it's a joy to drive this little beast to town for my once a month shopping- Thanks Again Amazon for the Best parts for any of my trucks and other ranch equipment

This is a great product. I had it welded on to my car and it sounds good its not that loud it is neighborhood friendly but it still sounds good for the price. This also fits a 2006 honda pilot for anyone wounding.

The item, being made of metal, seems to have survived a very rough trip. It will require further testing to be sure. If it has a problem, it may very well be due to the (lack of) packaging when it arrived in the original product box, like it was taken off a shelf and stuck with a mailer. This thin, long box looked like it had been crushed from every direction with an end covered in clear tape. One could presume that it had been subjected to much abuse, that it came out of the box. Any other material of contents would probably be destroyed, but if it proves to be ok, then I will accept it. Still, that is a very poor way to present a "new" product that has been purchased to a buyer.

I bought this to replace the resonator on my Toyota Matrix, as the aftermarket resonator assembly I had bought originally only lasted a few months before the baffles inside came loose and rattled. This was a direct replacement. I just cut out the old one, slid this over the existing pipes and welded it together. It brought back the original sound and has held up well. Even the red powder coat is still holding up strong. The thickness of the metal is much more than the aftermarket resonator, and this cost less than half the price. It's well worth it for that application, and I've used these Thrush mufflers to replace rusted out resonators on other cars as well.

Scuffed this into a ferd ranger, she chooches mint. Not too loud, sounds deep.
