We used this while traveling in the UK, and it worked beautifully. It was so convenient to plug it in the kitchen of our AirBnb and charge all our devices. If you've traveled overseas, you know there are usually not a lot of plugs in hotel rooms or rental homes, so this made it super convenient to use the USB for charging phones/Ipads and the plugs for other things like laptops and whatever else needed a plug. As others have mentioned, there was a humming noise to it, but plugged into the kitchen, it didn't bother us at night. It comes with a suede pouch that made it very easy to carry all the components together in a suitcase/backpack. I would recommend.

Worked very well in Kenya. Great optional adapters that also came in handy at the Paris airport. Great praice compared to some.

I have traveled with this kit several times to Spain, Thailand, and Australia and it has worked great. I bought a US style cord for it for travelling in the US. I like the fact that it has 4 USB ports and an on/off switch. I had trouble connecting my US Dell power cord to a universal receptacle on an airplane but by using the various adapters found in this kit I was able to get one that would work with the airplane receptacle saving me on a 13 hr flight. The only negative comment I have is that the unit has an internal fan which is not loud but is quite noticeable in a quiet room.

I needed this for a trip to St. Lucia so I could have a power strip to charge my laptop, cell, the batteries for my GoPro and to plug in my electric shaver. This fulfilled that job perfectly, and the fact that it also comes with adapters for multiple outlet configurations means you can use this pretty much anywhere! It's a shamew that it's not designed to handle items like hair dryers or curling irons, or I would have bought one for my wife to use as well. We had to get a different adapter for her to use with her hair dryer and curling irons.

This Bestek converter worked great. It supported all of my USB devices and my Mac laptop and charged them quickly and simultaneously. As advertised, it does not support a curling iron, but upon trying to use a curling iron, it did not damage the iron, but it didn't work with this converter. It is a little bulky with all of the possible attachments, but fit just fine in my luggage and is not very heavy. It has a fan that runs while it is in use, but it was very quiet and did not disturb. This device is well worth the cost and I found it to be very reliable. No wonder it is a popular item on Amazon.

Good but big, bulky and heavy

I used this for my trip to India. Used it extensively with no issues. Solid built and fits the outlets snugly. The ones I bought in the past wouldn't fit the local power outlets snugly and would slip out often. This comes with a fan, to keep the unit cool. 4 USBs and 3 110 outlets, was more than enough points for me. It's compact and fit my laptop bag well.

This BESTEK travel adapter worked really well and made traveling much easier. It comes with all the major plug types, which made it very convenient to use across different countries in both Asia and Europe. I liked not having to carry multiple adapters or worry about whether my devices would fit, and being able to charge multiple devices at once was really handy. Having everything stored securely in one small box made it easy to store in a backpack. It was simple to use, worked as expected, and felt like a very practical travel essential to keep in my bag. If you travel often or visit multiple countries on one trip, this is a really useful adapter to have.

Pretty small size for what it is, relatively quiet and did exactly what it was intended to do. Instructions are pretty clear about it's limits ( which is to be expected) so be aware you can't run high demand items with it. I would recommend this for anyone who needs to convert 220v to 110v.

Review update - The seller apologized for the inconvenience caused by receiving their defective unit. Although my review was made past the 30 day return period, the company promptly refunded the purchase price once they became aware of the issue. Therefore, I highly recommend purchasing from this seller, and would do so again. This company has integrity and stellar customer service! Original review - I recently purchased this adapter for my trip to the UK and Ireland. I did test it at home before making the trip. It charged my electronics as expected so I didn't anticipate any issues while away on vacation. Unfortunately, the device only worked the first night of my trip! After that, my friend and I had to rely on my battery pack and the tour bus's charging ports.... which were inconveniently located under the bus seats. Only one of the ten hotels we stayed at during our two-week holiday had an adapter to spare. Note: I carefully stored the adaptor in my carry-on luggage so there was no rough handling involved as an excuse for its malfunction. I was extremely disappointed with this particular item and would not recommend it to any traveler.
