Kitchen Devils 1000763 Kitchen Knife, Metal

I bought my first one of these many years ago when I lived in the UK. If it hadn’t fallen and melted the handle at the bottom of the dishwasher recently it would have lasted longer than it did. This is my go to knife for so many things - all day. Can’t live without it and so happy to have a new and much sharper replacement.

Used as a gift. Was exactly the item being sought. Friend had been looking for a style knife his Grandfather had. Described it as having two different cutting surfaces and tines at the tip to pick up the sliced meat. Hit Amazon and lo and behold found just the thing. Reasonably priced, promptly received, was presented on Christmas morning and was in use that afternoon carving up the Christmas turkey. Delighted with the item.

Love it, have waited for 20 years to get my hands on this wonderful knives, my previous knives lasted 20 years

Quite good, but not as nice as the old Kitchen Devil professional that it replaced. Knife is a bit bendy.

I just want to say that I have had exactly the same knife for years when I lived in the UK, and have used it for 6 years in the US. I have cut cardboard, polystryene, plastic piping, rubber and still used it to cut bread and is still as sharp as the day I purchased it. If anyone purchases one of these, then they have got a sharp knife for life Well done Kitchen Devil for such a good product! Regards Virginia

I have used Kitchen Devil knives for years - I was brought up in the UK - and have always loved them - they were faultless. That is not so now. For the sake of saving a few pennies per knife Kitchen Devil has clearly cut down on the weight of the metal and has, in doing so, made what once was a fine and effective tool, into a useless one. The knife bends when you cut bread which means you loose purchase & the knife is ineffective - how sad! I am just glad that I found my old Kitchen Devil bread knife - I will guard it like gold and never buy another Kitchen Devil knife in the future.

We have had one of these for something like 10 years! So if this one is anything like the previous one, it will be great. BUT, only time will tell…

Tengo uno igual comprado en Inglaterra hace 15 años y sigue cortando como el primer día. En ese tiempo he probado muchos otros (de marcas conocidas, sin marca, chinos, etc.) pero ninguno igual. Es el mejor que conozco para cortar pan. La hoja parece endeble porque es muy fina y flexible, pero esa es la razón de su nuen hacer. Este es para una segunda casa. Completamente recomendable.

Always a great addition to the kitchen knife collection, the fine serrated edge lasts for years and is the best bread and tomato cutter you can get, the other edge is good for carving meats etc and the points to pick anything off of the cutting board. I’ve had one for about 25 years and it still cuts bread well the second is 6 years old. Highly recommended though not the only knife you will need.
