is this grip for the newer LCP's that do not have any dashes in the serial number or does it matter which version.

I have had both the old and the new custom LCP's and the body of the gun was unchanged. I hope this helps. P.S. I use the Talon rubber grips and I love them.

I have the ruger lcp and it leaves a slight sting in the meaty area between my thumb and fingers. Can these be layered?

Yes. You can also cut it, but I wouldn't because I doubt you could get the manufactured alignment. i just got my gun out. Its difficult to see the seam, I think I layered it behind the handle. It looks great and feels more secured.

Can the grip be used in conjunction with the techniclip?

Yup I put both and it's fine. Cool.
