Ryobi R18RT-0 18V ONE+ Cordless Rotary Tool (Body Only), Yellow, Black

Pressed into service as soon as it arrived today. I have four or five rotary tools kicking around, and all budget babies apart from my first Dremel which pegged out just before Christmas after a solid 15 years service but with a couple of motor burn outs. Early signs are promising. Not quite as liberating as the truly cordless ones as you have a flexidrive permanently attached to the battery housing and speed control unit, but this is compensated for by bags of grunty power, and a battery life off the charts compared to all of the built in battery cordless guys......although I still have a wee Parkside one of those “just in case”. My early Ryobi tools are fantastic (pre 2010), but then Ryobi got really bad up to the point where I wouldn’t touch them. Post 2017ish, they have certainly had a major brand rethink, and while Festool, Pasload, Hilti and even Panasonic aren’t under threat, Ryobi have got their mojo back in style. I now have 7 18v one+ tools, and for the committed diyer, they are terrific. This rotary tool is a great piece of kit.

I own about 5 different tools from Ryobi's One+ range now, and I'm thoroughly impressed! They seem to have a tool for everything and the one battery for all system is so nice to have. This little rotary drill has been very useful. I used to use a dremel but sometimes i was restricted by the power chord. Now with this battery type, i can use it anywhere so it's been getting way more use than the Dremel, I actually don't use the dremel at all now. Plus the ryobi uses a smaller rotary tool on a flexible handle so it's been great for fiddly work or hard to reach places. Plus my mum uses it sometimes to file her nails when she puts acrylic nails on haha.

Very easy to use but extremely loud on full speed.

I got this to help with some work projects, went for this as I liked the idea of using my existing Ryobi batteries and not having to use an extension lead. Nice and easy to use, seems plenty powerful enough and came with a decent selection of tools. I’d happily recommend this.

Ryobi does it again, another AMAZING product, you can work anywhere with this multi tool because of the Plus One battery system, the long wand makes tasks a lot easier to get into small spaces, sturdy build quality as you’d expect from Ryobi. I’ve recently converted my friend who was a devoted Dewalt fan, he’s now convinced Ryobi is for him also, even older Ryobi gear works on the new batteries, most manufactures scam us every few years by changing the battery shape on new products, NOT RYOBI

I have numerous Ryobi tools. This particular one has been bought as a Dremmel replacement. The unattached (to the electrical supply) nature of the tool appeals and it seems just as good to use but with greater flexibility. Although not specifically headlined, be aware that there is a limited (but sufficient) tool set with the unit.

Excellent product much more versatile and we'll built than others I've owned. The grinder unit is easy to hold and not as fatiguing as others I've used that are much heavier in the hand. The Chuck is easy to use and gives a positive hold on the bits used.

Heute bekommen und gleich getestet. Das Gerät ist jeden Cent wert. Habe polierarbeiten erledigt und bin super zufrieden.Die Handhabung ist einwandfrei. Das Gerät ist auch nicht, wie in anderen Rezessionen beschrieben, zu leicht. Es hat ist vom geeicht her genau richtig. Und der Lärm ist auch ohne gehörschutz völlig in Ordnung und zu ertragen. Selbst bei voller Umdrehung immer noch leiser als andere handelsübliche dremel. Perfekt. Das kann ich nur weiter empfehlen. Da ich schon Ryobi Produkte besitze kann ich auch hier den schon vorhandenen Akku nutzen. Mittlerweile für 6 Geräte. 👍👍👍👍👍

Credo di aver fatto il peggior acquisto nel ramo di questi utensili. Esteticamente è bello, ma quando l'ho acceso portandolo alla massima velocità .... è stato spento immediatamente e le mie orecchie mi hanno ringraziato. Non è solo il rumore del motore elettrico (che resta pur sempre rumoroso di suo), ma viene amplificato da tutta la struttura che genera una cassa di risonanza, nulla a che fare con altri utensili simili molto meno rumorosi per non dire silenziosi al confronto di questo. Sinceramente non mi aspettavo un simile "aggeggio infernale" da casa RYOBI ... buona idea, pessima esecuzione. 👎👎👎

Habe das Gerät erworben, weil ich einige Ryobi-Geräte habe und bin total begeistert. Arbeitet einwandfrei, durch die flexible Gewindestange kann man gut damit werken und es ist auch viel leiser als das Markengerät, das ich vorher hatte (und was seinen Geist aufgegeben hat).
