40oz Plastic Jars With Lids, Accguan Airtight Container for Food Storage

I am a Foodie in both taste preference and cooking. As such, I have an abundance of spices and seasoning mixes from around the world. These clear plastic containers come in multiple sizes, are light weight and secure, with airtight screw-on tops. As the containers cannot be sanitized for my personal comfort by heat (dishwasher, steam or boiling water), I cleaned them using a mild dishwashing liquid, then briefly soaked and rinsed in warm water and a cap-full chlorine (for home use). The containers maintained the same appearance after washing and rinsing. I store my spice containers on a tall, narrow, rolling cart, inconspicuouslly tucked away on the side of my refrigerator. These containers were the perfect product for my intended use. I probably won't ever use the handles on top of the containers. Why risk carrying my spices using the plastic handles on top, when there are two perfectly good grips on each side of the container.

These jars are great...I use them in the kitchen, but I also use them in my office and in the garage. Sort and stack and organize. Leave the lid off and fill the jar with tools for easy access. Best purchase I've made in a while...those flat, rectangular. plastic containers with lids are quite pricey compared to the cost of each jar I used.

One day I ventured into a grocery where I normally do not shop. They had rows of bulk products seemingly identical to the brand name items loaded in my cart. I was hungry number 1, and really like the brand of rice number 2, which I can rarely find all in one location. So I put the individual bags and boxes back and loaded up about twelve plastic bags of secret branded rice, two sizes of couscous, assorted lentils and some cute dried beans. Then I got it all home. And unless I wanted to pour it all into one five-gallon bucket, I needed Amazon. Quickly. These 40-ounce containers were perfect to label and store the secret rice on wire shelves on the pantry door. I found the preparation time for each of them online and added it to a label on the back of the container. Happily all the items we cooked so far have been very tasty except for the one that didn't make it into a container -- it had those little black weevils. And even though they were organic, we decided not to sample them. So thanks as always to Amazon, my savior from the day Mr. Bezos sold only books but promised more to come. And wow, did it ever.

Perfect for whatever youre tryin to store. I used them for camping items at the camp site like matches, lighters, sugar packets for coffee, one with headlamps, ect.

I used these containers to store touch up paint in because all of the rooms in our home are different colors. This also helped me to get rid of several over-sized paint cans and save lots of room! The reusable labels are great too!

These were a life saver when we were moving. I love to paint. My husband says, “if it sands still long enough, she will paint it.” This is very true. So, when I had gallons that were less than half full, I hated to leave them behind or dispose of colors I’ve painted furniture with. I purchased these, filled them, and then took a piece of scotch tape and placed it over the paint store custom color paint label, rubbed on the custom color label from the can and slowly lifted the tape and the paint label print came off with the tape. The containers are clear so I taped that tape right on the plastic jar. No w I have the paint and what the formula and paint color is right on the leftover paint!

To store some snacks in a glassed-in cabinet, we first bought an OXO storage jar to see how that approach would work. It was very nice, but a bit too large and quite pricey, so decided to try these instead. They will do the job, more or less, but are not great quality--very flimsy plastic. However, they seem to be working and the tops do have a pull handle, which is a nice touch. We shall see how long they last. At least they are well-priced!

I use these containers to store left over paint, easy to label and you can see the color. Paint stays well and doesn't dry up. Works great in hot Florida garage
