Great little dehumidifier! Works very well in our medium sized basement.... After using this for a few weeks now, I'm quite surprised how well these units work. As shown in the pictures, you can see how much water is pulled and collected in the tank - this is about 4 days worth of running continuously. Though the power plug/box does get quite warm to the touch, I found that by placing it upright on a hollow ceramic base I made with about a 2 inch space between the wall the plug stays quite cool. I've read reviews saying the plug gets hot, and found a solution for it which I just described. The plug does need to sit upright with space between it and the wall. The portion of the plug with the light needs to be upright - as that portion gets warm to the touch. Other than that safety measure - this unit works great! Our basement smells cleaner and feels much drier than it did when we first moved in 8 years ago. There is no more musty/ moldy smell and it feels much warmer, as before we got this unit it was cold and felt wet down there in the basement. Great price for the value of the unit!

I got this for my home and set it up downstairs (we have a lot of board games and wanted to keep the area dry and cool. This thing was great! It was quiet, sucked up a LOT of moisture very fast... And then after two months it stopped working. The manual says it will stop if the humidity level is beyond a certain threshold, so I didn't think anything of it. But it got more damp in our home and I actually checked the system out. The power adapter had fried. The power just stops when it hits the adapter, so I can't check if the unit itself woks and it's JUST the adapter, or the whole thing. Yes, I had the adapter set up away from any other surfaces, laying flat, etc (I'm that annoying person who actually does the things in the manual) so it wasn't user error. Looking to replace this unit now that spring is upon us.

This is not too small but just the right size for my living room. There's only 1 button ON/OFF so very easy to use. It will stop function when water level is at 100%. My room is almost always humid where it always hit around 60-70% humidity but after using this product, it keeps humidity at around 50%. I've used this product for 4 weeks and water tank gets full every week. So it's doing what it's supposed to do. Like many other dehumidifier, this makes some noise, but not too loud. I make it run when I'm not home or when I'm sleeping so sound is not an issue to me. If you place it right next to TV, that might get in the way hearing sound from TV. Overall, this is a great product for a mid-size room. I don't regret buying and definitely recommend.

I'd never used a Dehumidifier before so I didn't know what to expect when I got it. Took it out of the box and...well....has 1 button...on or off...Turn it on and let it go. I would say users here are correct in saying it takes a few days to show results. After 24 hours it will start collecting water at a noticable level...below about 45 or 50% humidity it doesn't really do well. I believe they also state that in the instructions. Another cool thing is the light. If you have to get up in the middle of the night, this little joker can acts as a night light. So...it works...not the quietest...not the loudest...not the cheapest...not the most expensive...it works

Bought 2 for RV to get rid of mildew. RV is 35ft Fifthwheel with 4 large slides. Working good so far! In Tx, the humidity is 98% in summer. When it rained, they collected ALOT of moisture that day!! I was hoping they would and they did. No more mildew is forming!! Quiet, you can barely hear a fan running in it. Small enough to use in an RV. Have one in rear living and up front in bedroom. I bought 3 year warantee on both. Working fine so far...its been about two weeks. They've run nonstop. Were having a condensation problem when camping and a mildew problem when not in use. Tx is HUMID! Working good so far. Yes, I reccomend them but get a 3 year warantee in case they stop working. No complaints so far! UPDATE AUGUST 8, 2020...THE ELECTRICAL BOX IS ABSOLUTELY OVERHEATING TO THE POINT IT BURNS MY HAND TO TOUCH IT! HAD TO UNPLUGG FOR FIRE HAZARD IN OUR RV!! THE OTHER IS WORKING FINE. THIS ONE HAS A BUZZING SOUND COMING FROM THE ELECTRICAL BOX THAT ATTACHES. HAVING TROUBLE GETTING REFUND OR EXCHANGE THOUGH I BOUGHT PROTECTION PLAN. UPDATE: August 14/2020 Called Asurion for refund or exchange for unit. They told me to call CHINA and talk to the manufacturer. I don't think so. I am not calling CHINA. We spoke to Amazon customer service and Asurion had to cancel the manufacturer warranty in order for the Asurion to kick in, which it did. We were on a 3 way phone call. This was a pain in the backside. To sum up everything, I love the unit itself but the electrical vire box gets really hot. The electrical part seems to be a design flaw. Its that electrical box. I bought another brand that just plugs into the wall, one cord, no box that heats up. It got soo hot, its like the bix is plumb fried... you can hear the box sizzling, making a crackling noise. The other one us running normal. Its box is warm but not hot. Its that power core box thats the problem. I bought another that doesn't have that box, just one cord you plug into the wall. My bedroom has been a collector of moisture because of location and age of our building and has had mold issues. This definitely cuts the moisture down in the bedroom area. If we wanted whole house we'd get a bigger unit but this works for what we need. The power box gets warm but who doesn't when they are working, not an overall concern. If you can handle a fan being on, you can handle the hum of this angel. The lights on the item are bright, better than a nightlight for a child, had to position the machine to where it didn't feel I was being take up in a space ship. If you have a child's room that is moist and need a nightlight, get this two in one. Overall, product does what it says and if you follow the directions you'll be set.

I like many things about this dehumidifier, from its compact and easy-to-manage size, to its quiet operation (literally no noise). However, the most effective part is that it works like it should. I have it in my basement where I do woodworking as a hobby. It gets really damp when it rains. I was not sure if this little thing was up to the task in a large basement. I am pleasantly surprised that it has absorbed a lot of moisture and continues to do so without needing it to be turned off. I have t running for 3-4 days straight, and it is going strong. So far, so good. I am happy and honestly, for the price I paid for it, it is great. Thank you.

We had this items for 9 months months before it failed. We would use the item in a small bathroom that gathered moisture at times. When we would turn the dehumidifier on, it would gradually pull water in. After about two weeks, the tank would be full enough to drain. After repeating this process for 9 months (not as much use in the summer), I went to turn it in one morning for use after a shower. It wouldn't turn on. I inspected the power adapter, noticed that it had become incredibly hot and noted a burned smell coming from it. I immediately unplugged it. After letting it cool, I unscrewed it and opened the adapter. I found that components inside had melted at some point. We had never and have not since had issues with anything else plugged into the outlet. I will say when we would use it, the noise was somewhat low and acceptable and it did pull moisture from the air while it worked. We bought the product when it was less than 60 dollars. It's now over 100. I wouldn't recommend or rebuy this product again, not only because I felt like it was a waste of money for less than a year of use but because I now am thankful it never caused a fire.
