I bought this UGREEN cable 6 months ago for fast charging my iPhone, and for that it works perfectly. It feels well made, the length is very convenient, and overall the quality is excellent.However, it is worth knowing that this is a smart charging cable and it does not work with every device. For example, it will not charge my lamp or my electric nail drill. At first I thought there was something wrong with the cable, and then I thought some of my devices had stopped working, until I realised the issue was compatibility.So if you are buying it for a phone, I can definitely recommend it. But if you want to use it with another type of device, I would suggest checking compatibility first.

I've bought a lot of UGREEN products over the years, and they've become my default choice whenever I need cables or accessories. In fact, while travelling in Guangzhou, China, I even made a point of visiting one of their retail stores. That's probably a good indication of how much confidence I have in the brand.Although most of my newer equipment now uses USB-C, I still have plenty of chargers, power banks and computers with USB-A ports, so cables like this remain surprisingly useful.As expected, this one has been excellent. It charges reliably, transfers data without any issues and feels far better made than the generic cables that often come bundled with devices. The connectors fit snugly, the cable has just the right amount of flexibility, and it feels like it'll last for years.One thing I appreciate about UGREEN is the consistency. Whether it's hubs, DisplayPort cables, Thunderbolt cables or charging leads, everything I've bought has been well made and dependable. I've reached the point where I don't really think twice—I just order the UGREEN version.There are certainly cheaper USB-A to USB-C cables available, but for something I use regularly, I'd rather have a cable I know I can rely on. This has been exactly that, and I'd happily buy another if I needed one.

If you need a bog-standard cable with no special capabilities, then this is perfectly serviceable and for a good price too. Keep in mind that a 0.5m cable is much shorter than you think it is. If in doubt, I'd go for a 1m cable.

I am very happy with the USB A to USB C, it’s very well made and the Braided is very firm and tuff, so the wires inside are very well protected, it fits as it should and works very well, it was very well packed and the right length, the appearance looks very nice and professional, I had no issues with both devices seeing the cable first time, and working out of the box, thank you
