Absolute pleasure to use. Arrived nice and sharp, make perfect shavings, leave a nice smooth surface.

A bit hard to create a burr on, but really worth the little extra effort as the steel keeps it's edge really well. I use an extra hard burnishing tool. I was able to really smooth the stock of a Pennsylvania Rifle with less work and only had to restore the edge twice a great quality set of scrapers, the best I have owned.

I first tried DFM scrapers when they introduced the pair of radius-corner cards and was pretty pleased with those other than some QC issues (same QC issues with their mini square as well). The steel in those and these is very good quality, good hardness although could be a tad higher for my tastes, and they retain a burr pretty well. Not as good as the Sandvic/Bahco cards and I just recently had to replace one of those and can confirm that they are still the best and do hold their burr longer than these DFM cards. But no real complaints. I wish I had seen way deep down in the product information (amazon is a mess) that the rectangle card here is only 5" length. Can't use it in a holder. For the thickness and the shorter length, using this 5" card with thumbs is doable but it's so much better using a holder whenever possible. I used the convex and french curve cards as soon as I received them but it was months before I pulled out the rectangle only to discover my holder couldn't use a 5". I probably would have not bought this set (or returned it) if I'd known it wasn't a standard 6" length. Oh well. Cards I received needed preparation out of the package - you expect this and should do it anyway, but the Sandvik/Bahco arrive with edges that are pretty much good to go and turn a burr without prep unless you're particularly discerning about it. Had to correct one corner with a ding...nothing to complain about. Decent cards, comparable with Lynx, not quite as good as the old standard Sandvik/Bahco.

Great for tillering bows when finesse is crucial!

Works great. I'm refinishing a piece right now that needed all the veneer removed, and this is quickly and easily removing the remaining bits and glue so I can get to the next stage without tearing up a ton of sandpaper. Looking forward to using these for many future projects.

I was pleased the quality of the scrapers, and reasonable price. They sharpened well, and I have been using them quite a bit already , minly on curved and round surfaces.

Arrived quickly, similar to some I’ve had for years. These work well. I’m glad I bought them.

Acero de primerísima calidad. Aunque hay quien dice en los comentarios que viene afilada, no es así: lo que lleva es la rebaba del troquelado de fábrica. El acabado azul es simplemente estético y desaparece en el momento que se pule quedando de tono grisáceo. Nota: para afilarlas he fabricado un bruñidor con una lima triangular vieja que tiene un metal durísimo.
