Pinch Hazard - Be Aware!!!
This clamp is a definite pinch hazard. I've pinched myself twice with this particular clamping pliers (10CSS). I have their larger clamp, the 19CC, and have had no troubles with it being a pinch hazard. And I have their 3" drill press clamp, again not a pinch hazard. I'm not new to using and owning clamps as I also have a dozen other locking style welding clamps and pliers, most of them being made by Irwin and have never been pinched. With these clamping pliers it is most likely its because the handle on these clamps are too short putting your fingers too close to the locking/adjusting mechanism. Now mind you I really like the self-adjusting feature but its not worth getting hurt for. I was thinking of ordering their 11CC pliers but not now. I will definitely stay away from their other short handled pliers as well.

Very practical and easy to use with strong hold
Great product, very easy to use without the usual required adjustments with other clamps, holds strong for most needs. If you needs stronger hold, then C-clamps are probably not what youโre looking for. Planning on getting additional clamps as it has many practical uses with its longer reach, 5โ, relative to the 3-3.5โ of normal clamps.

Small spring dislodged, VERY difficult to get back in place. Very thin gauge springs.
Cheap small spring dislodged, nearly impossible to get back in place.

Works well
I'm finding them easier to use than typical vise grip pliers or clamps. They do hold well and clamp with lower hand pressure. So far I've only used them as clamps for holding small wooden projects while glue is drying. I bought them to use as welding clamps. I'm expecting them to work well for that too.

Super handy!
Super handy. Wish I would have come across this years ago! My vice grip style ones are tossed to the side.

Named length is overall, not clamp reach.
Allowed me to quickly clamp a drill template to the side of a cabinet with the face frame already attached. The only confusion was the length used in the item description is overall, not the clamp reach. Could be clarified in literature to avoid problems of ordering clamps that are too short for the task.
