Excellent purchase
I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel and advised to do several things, one of which was getting a wrist support for my right hand. I did a lot of research before making the purchase and decided to try this product. It is exactly what I wanted. Something that did the job, day and night, of supporting my wrist at work (lots of typing) and that I could actually wear easily with an outfit that looked as "unnoticeable" as possible and was not "bulky". I got it in black and have found it is very easy to wear, is no more noticeable than a dark "glove", is easy to take on and off and to wear under jackets, etc... (not bulky. I found it is relatively small compared to other similar products so it is not awkward on the wrist. It is somewhat flexible, but keeps my wrist stable, and the adjustable velcro straps are easy to adjust for comfort so it's not too tight. Your skin can breathe well in it too. It is also very comfortable at night and light weight. I highly recommend this product. I wanted to include some other information for others suffering from a diagnosis of "carpal tunnel", in case it is useful. I was told it was probably both from repetitive finger movements and overuse (typing and drawing), but also was greatly aggravated by carrying a heavy backpack, which affected my right shoulder/lower back, which was all affecting the carpal nerves. I was advised to get a "rolley backpack", which I researched. I purchased one at amazon online (Janson sport 8) and it had made a world of difference. Why didn't I do this years ago?!! So easy. My shoulder and back pain is literally gone after a month of using it. I also switched my chair at work to one that provides support, and follow proper posture procedures (see online) and ordered a low "sliding keyboard" under my desk. keeping my legs uncrossed really helps too). Although initially skeptical, I tried acupuncture with a highly recommended practitioner. 4 treatments later, my carpal pain is about 95% gone. Which of all things worked? Probably a combination, but it is such an incredibly painful condition, I wanted to share all the things I did which have helped. Good luck!

This brace really works! No more pain or numbness.
This brace is fantastic! I kept waking up each morning and my wrist and hand were completely numb, tingling, and in pain. Carpal tunnel. Since I started using this brace, my hand and wrist have not gone numb at all. No more pain or tingling. It's comfortable and I recently ordered another one to have when/if I wear this one out.

I bought like 4 of these things
My boyfriend and I both have occasional wrist issues, so I have been buying a whole range of wrist support devices. Of everything I have tried, these are our favorites. They are in fact so much our favorite that my boyfriend stole mine and I had to buy two more, bringing me to a total of four of these things. They give good range of motion and good stability. The comfort level is about what you make of it. Any wrist brace will get uncomfortable after a few hours. These have the hard plate in them that give them extra durability, but it can also make them feel uncomfortable a little bit faster than ones that don't have them. Overall, the velcro straps are the best part to me. Sometimes when I've been wearing the brace a few hours and start to get uncomfortable, I will either loosen or completely undo the velcro straps. This takes some of the pressure off my skin without completely losing the stability of the brace, and after a few minutes to an hour, I'll redo the velcro once I'm feeling better. Some people complained about a smell. This product, as well as most products made of similar material, come with a smell that dissipates after a day or two. It's not even a terrible smell; it's just the standard plastic-y smell you get from things like backpack inserts, joint braces, keyboard cushions, etc. It is not abnormal, it's not a reason to avoid buying it, and it's not a reason to return it. Unless someone is EXTREMELY sensitive to smell, no one should have any problems with this. The worst part of the brace is the thumb hole. It's a bit tight. It was tight on me, and I have very small hands and thin fingers. When I purchased the second set of braces, I asked my boyfriend if I should get the larger size, since his hands and fingers are quite a bit bigger than mine, but he said the small size fits him fine. While the thumb hole is tight, it loosens up over time, and he said he really didn't mind it. (Fortunately for me, the thumb hole is now stretched out enough from him wearing it that it no longer bothers me, lol) Most important of all, it DOES help our wrists feel better. They are best used for preventing wrist pain by forcing you to keep your wrists straight and develop healthy wrist habits, which cuts down on your chances of developing wrist problems. I don't wear them daily or even monthly. When I start feeling wrist pain, I will wear them for a week or two. If I start feeling better by day 3, for example, I'll still wear them for a few more days to teach my body to keep my wrists straight, because if I stop wearing them the second I stop feeling pain, I'm just going to go back to the old bad habits and end up needing the brace again for an even longer period of time. My boyfriend is very prone to this, and I have to remind him every time to wear the brace for like 3 to 5 days longer than you feel pain because it's worth the results. I'll also wear them if I am doing an abnormal task (like maybe lifting a heavy package) that puts a lot of strain on my wrists to minimize the chances of me getting hurt. In conclusion, 9/10, already did buy it again, three times over. The price value is good, it gives a lot of support and stability, and while all braces are uncomfortable, this one makes it pretty bearable. It also really helps the healing process and teaches me good habits to prevent getting hurt in the first place.

Saved My Wrist at Work Today – Super Comfortable & Actually Stabilizing
I tweaked my wrist yesterday afternoon and every time I bent it wrong I’d get a sharp stabbing pain up the side. Woke up this morning and it was still off, so I knew I had to be really careful — my job involves a ton of wrist movements and I was sure I’d make it worse by the end of the day. I quickly grabbed this Mueller fitted wrist brace (ordered the S/M even though I’m normally a small). It fit almost perfectly, and is super easy to adjust if you have bigger wrists, and feels incredibly soft and comfortable right out of the box. Most importantly, it actually stabilizes the wrist. I wore it all day at work and didn’t get a single additional twinge or injury despite all the movements my job requires. That said the part that goes around the thumb rubbed against the inside of my hand. So when I was finished with work I had protected my wrist, but the inside of my thumb joint was definitely rubbed raw. So If you need quick wrist support for work, sports, or everyday life (carpal tunnel, tendonitis, sprains, etc.), this one is good choice - especially if wearing it for shorter intervals. Overall, I’m really glad I had it today.

Great wrist brace
I'm a bigger guy and the L/XL fits great. It's comfortable and it holds the wrist steady so it doesn't bend. I've been wearing it non-stop for the past week and my wrist is already feeling better due to the compression. It's very easy to use and the straps adjustment makes it fit just right.

Like an old friend you know you can rely on.
Comfy, it works, easy to put on. Not uncomfortable to wear at all, the inside is a smooth soft fabric and the thumb strap doesn't dig in uncomfortably even when wearing for long periods of time. Was able to work (computer desk job) pc game, and sleep while wearing it. Still felt like I had plenty of mobility, but still very supportive, and stabilizes my wrists well. It is very low profile, and not at all awkward to wear or bulky. I have a weak wrist and tweak it alot, I have thrown this on, and in 1-2 days my wrist will feel just fine again, no more twingy pain. No pain while wearing either. You can easily adjust the compression with the velcro, which don't have a catching problem and is easy to reajust throughout the day. Liked it enough that I came back and bought the same one but for my other had when I needed it.

Support is good, comfort could be better
I have reoccurring wrist issues from a probable sprain/possible fracture that I never let heal properly. This brace provides good support and keeps my wrist pretty stable and prevents movement that would cause pain. The one issue I have is the small strip that goes on the webbing between the thumb and index finger has no padding and it's where 2 seams are connected by a 3rd seam (pictured,) so it rubs and puts pressure on the webbing between the thumb and index finger. I've tried taping around the area with foam added, wrapping an ACE bandage around my hand and the putting this brace on, putting a band-aid over the webbing area first, and I still get the pain and irritation. I still wear it because the support it provides outweighs the irritation and minor pain on the webbing of my hand.

Best brace I've found for heds daily use
I have heds and need a wrist brace practically 24/7 to prevent near constant subluxions. This is by far the best brace I've tried that has the best balance of keeping my joints mostly in place while still allowing use of my thumb. They last for over a year of constant use and are totally machine washable. The straps are a bit too long though if you have smaller wrists like, which I solve by folding them over an inch or so near the Velcro end and sewing them shorter. I've bought them consistently for years.
